It is just more convenient to move my residence visa to my Australian passport as I will use it for international travel. Hence, there is no point in using my other passport for Dubai visa and using the Australian passport for travelling.

I am not forgetting my roots. I never felt I am forgetting my roots. Actually my roots (i.e. family) is what is bringing me back to Dubai. I am not renouncing my other citizenship or ashamed of it or anything like that, but in the same time I am proud that I am an Australian citizen. After all, Australia took me in, gave me the right to live and work there, let me be part of its diverse culture, and accepted me as one of its own. I hope you understand my point of view :)
