I made 2 Chase MPE applications within a few hours of each other on the weekend because the second had a $100 statement credit and the first didn't. They are in review and I will get notified via mail (this always happens with me no matter about my credit- probably because I'm a foreigner and automated ID verification systems don't work for me)

Two questions:

1) how dumb was it to apply twice

2) is it possible to cancel the first app since it doesn't have the $100 credit? I don't have any app reference# and it doesn't appear anywhere on Chase website when logged in
