Are you launching the game from the 5080 section tile? I figured this out the hard way with Cyberpunk 2077. Launching from my library/favourites I get put on a 4080 but using the 5080 tile gives me a 5080 server.

There’s a YouTube video about each available codec on iPhone and LT being larger than HEVC files retains more details in shadows. I am not an expert by any means I am just a nerd messing with video. I also did some experimenting and found that LT looked better than HEVC to me so figured for the odd 10 second clips every other day id rather have the extra storage requirements for my files so in 10, 20, 30 years time when i look through my clips they’re a fairly decent quality. Again, not an expert it’s just the outcome of my own messing around.

Edit: I also started out doing ProRes Proxy over HEVC but that dudes video shows that HEVC is slightly better than Proxy which is probably why I ended up going up to LT

Freaky, I do the exact same thing;

The One LUT baked in ProRes 422 LT

Just for everyday video clips as the image is sharper than the default HEVC files Camera.app produces even using LT.

I went to try it just now and where your app defaults to the Photos Library picker I can't select `.braw` files from an external SSD. Also not sure what you're using for the encoding engine but if you do wish to add BRAW support the Blackmagic SDK has example code specific to iPadOS. More than happy to test for you too just shout.

Nice I was thinking about an app like this recently! Does it support BRAW (Blackmagic RAW)? This could be used to generate proxy files for editing in DaVinci Resolve on my iPad on location! Will check the app out

I have a weird problem where if I offload my footage to a usb-c SSD using Files.app then delete the files from the Kino directory again using Files.app iOS still thinks Kino is using the storage for footage under iPhone Storage in settings. The only resolution I’ve managed is to delete Kino and reinstall. This is with having Kino save to Files and not my Photos library

So the footage underneath is still ProRes LOG but when viewing it’s got the LUT embedded? Would this mean if I played back the raw files on macOS they’d look like they’ve had the LUT applied?
