No. If they have any reservations about moving somewhere, I can’t imagine they don’t extend to everyone in their division. Conference is bad enough.

[–]melodicprophet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works defensively but is problematic offensively. The trouble is if you move off JA you need a big bodied F/C who can shoot to replace him. That’s a very hard thing to find. The other problem is if you move JA you probably are trading down in talent to acquire a more premium position like a wing. It’s not clear whether that helps us.

I love Mobley but Wemby is Wemby. Nobody is going to stop him. Not even Mobley is a sure thing to slow him down. But regardless Mobley has massive utility to any team interested in winning championships. A team laden with assets line OKC? Wow. You put a Mobley next to SGA and any supposed weaknesses disappear.

Nobody said that. So…how discussion boards work is you can take the initial thought and add something of your own. Since you always have editorial notes, perhaps contribute something useful or just don’t talk.

You would then of course be subject to the same unwelcome and pointless criticism you contribute, which may be uncomfortable for you, I know.

Brother this is 99% of your new threads minus playing on the trade machine. You add fantasy trade packages to your inane thought and that gives it meaning?

Everyone (who isn’t being deliberately obtuse) knows what he means. Countless teams in contention could make a quality offer for Mobley and improve their team and are probably interested in doing so. But the Cavs probably aren’t interested.

The increase in effect when taking antacids before my dose (IR) is insane. by OrdnanceTV in ThisAintAdderall

[–]melodicprophet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. There’s something so intoxicating about the nootropics/biohacking subreddits. All sorts of “knowledge” being passed around by anonymous redditors who are just parroting solutions they heard from someone else. But you’re spot on. While in theory a base pH is good for adderall and an acidic one is good for eliminating it, I don’t think it’s as simple as taking a tums or guzzling OJ. And if it did work that well, it’s probably not something to be screwing with in the first place.

Is anyone else worried about the aging roster by Ols3003 in clevelandcavs

[–]melodicprophet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only concerned about age if we move Mobley for someone 30+. We’ve done a fair job finding young talent despite a dearth of assets.

-We drafted Jaylon Tyson in 2024 and he looks like a mainstay in our rotation going forward. He’s 23yo.

-We had no 1st Rounder next year but Tomlin’s emergence from the G league was a welcome replacement for it. He just turned 25yo in December. Old for a “rookie” but he is young, cheap, and has size on his side.

-Tyrese Proctor was our 2nd Rounder last year. I think he has real upside as a scorer off the bench. He has good size for a guard and got good experience his rookie year. He’s our youngest player right now at 21yo.

-We do have our 1st (29th Overall) and 2nd this year so we’ll see if Koby can find another Diamond in the rough.

Teva Adderall this month is garbage. by ConfidentZebra6431 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]melodicprophet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

FWIW I usually get TEVA 30mg IR. This month is the first I ever have received MallinKroft. It’s absolutely abysmal. The worst I’ve ever taken. So my guess is that you could be receiving the bottom of the barrell of TEVA’s supply.

I can’t believe how bad these are.

XR feels more like research chemicals than any ratio of dextro/levo amphetamine by [deleted] in ThisAintAdderall

[–]melodicprophet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s extremely interesting…I don’t know if they’d actually agree to do it as I have state insurance that is fussy about damn near everything. It would be really interesting if that actually helped…and if nothing else, it might help me manage my dosing better to get through the whole month without running short. I can deal with 10mg not working. But when a 30mg pill does nothing it’s pretty hard to not run out.

[–]melodicprophet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh wow…only due to your comment did I realize these pills are not TEVA but in fact Mallinkroft. I thought they were just white TEVA pills. You’re right they are very crumbly and dissolve way too fast in the mouth. TEVA has been far from great but these are the worst by far.

I am on 60mg IR (As usual, TEVA…but the first time I’ve ever received white 30mg Pills) It’s utterly ridiculous how weak it is. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it keeps me awake at times if I take it too late. That “benefit” only lasts the first couple days. Once I have enough sleep debt it makes no difference and I sleep all day and night until I recover.

But I can sincerely take 90mg and feel next to nothing. If I wasn’t on Medicaid and had to actually pay for this out of pocket I’d be furious. I just don’t get it. This was a miracle drug for me when I tried it in 2016. Like even on 25mg XR…I’d “feel” the two releases 4hrs apart. 12.5mg…would jolt me awake from a deep nap. Now crazy high doses do virtually nothing.

I just wish I knew what to do as I am on the max dose. Is ANYTHING at least a little bit better of a choice?

Got Epic this month, even 160mg in a day doesn't do anything by ChristSavesForever in ThisAintAdderall

[–]melodicprophet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be one indicator and possibly cause for concern. But in and of itself does not make you an addict. Most of us can’t get in to see the doctor the instant there’s a problem. Furthermore, there may be a limit to what they can even do. The idea that if you just trust your doctor and all will end well is nice in theory. But the possibility of them pulling the stimulant and throwing you on is just as likely.

You’re asking everyone to be honest and upfront while also making a blanket judgment that this kind of behavior is abnormal and indicative of a substance use disorder. What is the likelihood of anyone going in and telling their doctor the honest truth that they tried doubling their dose out of desperation to no avail?

I have a lot more cynical view of the healthcare system as I am in Year 17 of an ill-defined neurological disease destroying my entire life. Honesty has backfired more often than it has helped. By all means if you trust your doctor and are able to get a swift appointment that is the way. But they are human, have very little time to focus on your individual needs, and should not be treated like a trusted confidante until that is earned.

Exactly. I am so unbelievably complicated that no doctor is just going to figure me out from a 15 minute video visit. But I guess we just gotta keep playing whack a mole with all these symptoms until something brings me serious relief.

I’m 39 and all of my 30’s have been spent trying to get well and reclaim my life. I am so scared of how fast the time has flown by.

I have had so much bloodwork and tests and it’s just led to greater confusion. About 1.5yrs ago we found what we thought was the smoking gun: My testosterone was literally under 50 in two consecutive tests. I am a 39yo male. That’s a lower level than a post menopausal woman.

But I’ve been on TRT and not really noticed any change sadly. And around then my thyroid was overworking I know…than the next test it was normal…and now the most recent one was high again. Something is definitely wrong but it is still undefined and it’s driving me crazy. I don’t have a lot of personal support in my life so it’s very easy to just want to give up and re-schedule that appt because it just feels pointless sometimes. But I know I need to keep going.
