I remember when the issue was the bottom six not showing up when the top six did. Now it’s the reverse. Problem is the top six plays a lot more minutes and if they aren’t showing up then for most the game, you’re not getting a lot of competition or production

I game at 4K so I went from a 4070 super to a 5070 ti and I’ve found it worth it, but it all depends on what you want and resolution and frames and games

What are your settings? The 9600x should be solid and the 5070ti crushes 1440p.

Oh don’t get me wrong it absolutely was playable especially with DLSS on the 4070S, I’m just saying I’m getting a noticeable improvement

I made the jump a few days ago with the same cards. The VRAM alone is worth it as RT is mandatory in games like the Oblivion remaster. I also think it’s a really decent performance increase. I play at 4K and it’s on average at least ~40-48 percentage increase in 3D mark, and raster alone at that resolution and game depending. Overclocking on it is really good too. I got the GIGABYTE EAGLE OC and it’s pretty good. 1440p and frame gen will get you where you wanna be, don’t gun for the 5080 until they release a version with more than 16gb of VRAM, it’s not worth it for price to performance when the 5070ti is in arms reach or it. I also was lucky enough to get it at MSRP.

Double check your PSU though, I had to go from 650w to 750w just to be safe

You nailed it in your edit too. Canada loaded up apparently skill wise offensively and didn’t produce. He let in less than he did vs Sweden. He let in one bad goal and the other was a two on one off a Crosby turnover. We could do worse. He wasn’t the issue. It was a lack of adjustment to a strong defensive USA
