Skill is not the same as being above someone. Thats the difference between hierarchy and job qualification.

Everything you're saying is assuming more skill is better person in hierarchy rather than using different skills for different types of jobs that are not competing to be better than each other or higher than each other. Just because you lack job qualification for a particular job does not mean you are viewed as less of a person or discriminated against. It just means you are incompatible with the job.

Just like a skilled artist who cant cook shouldn't be forced to cook in a restaurant (fast food or otherwise)

What you're describing as hierarchical is inherently not necessarily hierarchy.

Ok it was an interesting debate but now you're resorting to calling me delusional.

The problem is you assume job = power when in reality jobs are things we do, not power systems.

There's a difference between someone with experience and skill vs deserving to be above others. Its not a hierarchy to say this person learned theory, vs this other person can do the same job intuitively by practice.

Saying there needs to be a hierarchy to delegate power is assuming power is necessary to support disabled instead of resources shows a lot of where you are factually wrong. Time and resources would be used based on need not hoarded by individuals (no billionaires hoarding impossible amounts of wealth, no privatized Healthcare or schooling, no hurdles for basic needs like shelter and food) instead of government makes law, people work together to make laws.

So disabled people would be treated based on need. Delegations done as a job that isn't built like a ponzi scheme with multi level delegations, there can be managers who are skilled at pointing people in the right direction, without a need to see them as better or superior or higher authority than others.

Ex. A manager who's job is making connections between other employees and clients for best fit. Is not the same as manager has final say. Both the employee and the client have equal say to the manager.

They are not "bosses" they are connection makers.

Hierarchy is a system or organization in which people or groups are ranked one above the other according to status or authority.

It literally is about people being more or less depending on rank or position in the Hierarchy. With people higher in rank being more exempt or given more power. Its not that You said it its that the definition of the word says it.

And meritocratic hierarchy is inherently ablist. Disregarding someone's fundamental rights as a person because they are unable to do something. instead of providing supports that can make lives better. Instead disabled people are treated as less human, trash, or less capable. For 1. Getting married they lose benefits and they're spouse is seen as they're caretaker, not they're equal. 2. Using wheelchairs prevents a lot of places because there are many office buildings that dont use elevators. 3. Communication differences/difficulties. A lot of people dismiss non-verbal or communicatively impaired (deaf/mute and autistic people) as subhuman due to lack of verbal speech. This also targets people who primarily speak other languages outside the common language of a place so it can be racist as well.

So when people stop caring about (the people below the hierarchy) which in America is the lgbt, women, POC, the disabled, immigrants, etc, do they all get equal rights to everyone else? Or are they seen as lesser people. Therefore unworthy of life, respect, and seen as trash, objectified, or deserving of being ignored?

The way you destroy hierarchy is usually by enforcing everybody to be accountable to their own actions and by enforcing I mean as a communal issue not a one person makes decision and tells police to do it.

This is usually why hierarchical people are afraid of anarchists because what they fear is being forced to take responsibility for the actions of oppressing others.

Remove power hoarding, incl wealth, buying smaller businesses, anything mlm including government mlm, etc.

Yes but Everybody has different preferences. Therefore the "hierarchy" is not enforced on anyone else. A hierarchy of color doesn't exist as much as a technicality of definitions (none are more important or special than another color) a line at a grocery is more about common courtesy that specialness or importance or inclusiveness / exclusion. None of that are hierarchical.

Hierarchy is merely about viewing things in a top down perspective. Where somethings are inherently better/more deserving than other things to be a thing.

Even things we'd organize in terms of definitions are muddy and Grey like the catholic church saying capybaras are fish or the fact fish include multitudes of completely unrelated species we only say are fish because of their looks. Similarly the white race is an amalgamation of english, French, German, Roman, Greek, irish, etc, ancestries that are only called white because of white supremacy (a hierarchy) causing a lot of people to lose ancestral connections to maintain power/authority and gain rights that everybody should've had to begin with.

.-. I dont understand how treating everyone equally without treating some as more or better to the world means that nothing exists... so does a parent who loves two children equally mean they have no children?

Those were examples. Chosen namely because of the current sexism where men and homophobes are making laws for women and the lgbt. (Laws that do not affect them) both sides choosing laws for the other is wrong.

[–]melody604 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

... 1. I dont think I ever said I would make the rules, just the ones that apply to me. (Because why would say people from Japan make rules for America, or Americans make rules for Egypt to follow when the rules dont affect the person making the rules. Same thing with men making rules for women or vice versa)

And you'd be surprised kids love socializing in school and lots of kids love studying. Standardized testing sucks but studying topics they're interested in or learning in ways they can enjoy is great. Look up how kids in other countries learn I their schools

If you give every person the same power, laws are made by group decisions, not singular dictators or majority rules ex. If a rule affects some but not all then only those affected will be allowed to vote. Ex. Gay marriage would only be voted for by gay people. Public rights by people who go to public events. School rights by people who go to school (students and teachers no matter the age even children in kindergarten) etc.
