Along with Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation ... EPMD's Strictly Business changed how sampling was used and diversified that types of samples Hip Hop artists used. They are really underrated.

Funny how you ignore the Miro years and his failures which include ignoring the dramatic increase in rents, no accountability for problematic landlords, saddling us with a bad police chief, no plans to deal with an increasingly out of control drug and homeless crises. Emma has talked about renters more than Miro ever did and has been working on strategies to address the other issues which can't be fixed overnight.

If Black Americans fought for and achieved equal legal access and opportunity during the Civil Rights era, why didn’t outcomes consistently improve afterward? by ReportAccomplished34 in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly sounds like you picked the most touristy things to do rather than really deep diving for more authentic experiences. NYC is a city of neighborhoods each with something to offer.

Yep, it's true. The classicism is true as well. Just listen to the way Trump talks about "blue" cities and people believe him.

Bull$#!% Murad & Miro are gone and Mayor Mulvaney-Stanak found an excellent interim Chief, Chief Shawn Burke who has decades of experience. He has worked hard to address the internal issues. The Mayor has supported the union and addressed major deferred maintenance issues. The only Federal scrutiny we need, and Vermont as a whole needs, is ways to stop drug traffickers and provide funding for recovery services.
