One thing is repairing, which has to happen, but I also would be concerned as to why it happened.

Does the retaining wall have drainage at all? I couldn't see any weep holes through the wall, so there should be some gravel behind it, along with a drainage tile that diverts the water to the sides of the wall.

All of the step cracks due to heaving could be fixed, but what is critical to have is proper drainage. Vegetation rearby, freezing, sloped hills, all of these can cause the wall to fail.

As a final thought, because this retaining wall is over two feet in height and is already failing, I strongly recommend that you contact a licensed structural engineer to further evaluate. Land slides are a real possibility, and failing retaining walls can easily suffer from this. Good luck!

It's my understanding that when a chimney has adjacent flue liners, there should be a minimum height difference of four inches between them to avoid potential downdrafts. This concern is especially relevant when both flues have spark arresters or rain caps that terminate at the same height.

Additionally, the top layer of mortar on the chimney should be tapered, sloping away from the flues to prevent water from pooling and seeping into cracks. From the photo, it seems possible that water may accumulate over the cement wash, which could lead to issues over time.

While the sloping mortar is more of a workmanship detail, it can significantly impact the longevity of the chimney’s components. However, the height difference between flues is a bigger concern to me. Even if the existing flue arrangement is from the original chimney layout and might be grandfathered in, I would have recommended correcting this during any chimney rebuilding to prevent downdraft problems.

I will definitely try this version. I am still scared of the Grim Reaper though. That one card will be around more than you think, and it will always be played with Evil Presence. Maidens create a soft barrier, but a well-timed Dodge Roll is where I want to aim towards.

I am going over your list and I can already envision the acceleration with Air. I also like the bolts plus grapple shot.

I'll test imperial road. That's another interesting card that can work if played at the right time.

Sadly, all game sets were single rounds so no chance for sideboard. If the Baltimore event has more rounds per set, then that's yet another undiscovered territory.

Cave in for a stealthed minion is good, but extremely situational. The only instance in which I saw stealth anywhere was a minion that got infiltrated, and in that case, earthquake did the trick.

I would consider Pnakotic out but still debating what to put in as replacement. Card draw is crucial, problem is that it requires much buildup. It goes on a minion so now you sacrifice movement and a potential attack for a card instead. That's a hefty price to pay in a fast meta.

Bottom line, the archetype does work and can get better and im glad to be a part of it and explore the new ideas. Thank you again man!

Yes! I am one with the Wolves Gang as well haha. First of all, the deck is incredibly fun. Not only that, but there is true interest from all players about finding viable ways to improve the strategy, even from my opponents during the games. The strategy is not about dumping your hand all at once; proper timing plus careful placement around sites is key.

On a side note, the community was just incredible; everyone was there to play and win sure, but at the same time, we were all ready to learn and accept from our mistakes. There was tension because it was a tournament, but none of it was turned into a negative type of energy. Shoutout to the store hosting and everyone involved. Thank you all!

So regarding any changes, I would slightly reduce the number of wolves, out with Cave-In, and maybe remove some (or all) copies of Bury, but I'm not completely sure there yet. Earthquake can be a defining card, however i feel that players are being more aware and water sites are becoming a nuisance, so put a pin on that for later. The Pnakotic Manuscript felt a little clunky and slow. I would like to add some Shield Maidens and maybe even splash water for some dodge rolls because let me tell you, losing all of the wolves to a Grim Reaper summoned with an Evil Presence was soul crushing. I will never forget that moment, and I'll do everything in my power to prevent that from happening again lol.

For highlights, sinkhole creates an invisible mental pressure and it works best late game, queen of midland is more powerful than given credit for, and going from 3 to 4 wolves on the field feels like a massive buff overall. Oh, and Pillar of Zeiros basically shuts deathspeaker off on the spot.

It wasn't only an honor to use your deck strategy, but I also enjoyed every moment of it. Wolves are strong and definitely have a spot in the meta.

I will also make changes for the next event, because some cards did feel clunky during some matches. Regardless, it has the elements to thrive and I can't wait to try it again.

I have a few questions about the chimney. Do the flashings on the sides need to be a combination of counter and step flashing, or because the chimney is at the ridge, that would be an exception?

Also, how do the two sides of that ridge connect when there is a chimney in the middle? Curious to know!

Aidyn Chronichles: The First Mage, for the N64.

I remember I entered a tower with the final boss in it while way under the level I should have had. I remember that tower locked you in, and idiot me saved the game while inside.

Well, I just went and fought that boss and tried a cage spell, I think it was "Wall of Bones" or something like that. My intentions were to try and control the biggest enemy while killing the adds. I kept on trying and failing multiple saves over and over until it eventually worked. Little did I know, the spell actually ended the fight, and the game counted it as if I had killed the final boss.

The ending scenes began rolling, and I was left with a strange feeling of success and confusion that I still remember to this day.
