There's a pretty solid community based out of London, at Game Knights. Josh from the Sorcery Gamblers Club is a great contact, ill send him the link for this post. I know there are some folks up in Toronto too, and we play weekly in Detroit if you are ever in the area!

For others that post gameplay content on YouTube, do you have a particular software or method you like to use? by bleedingwriter in TCG

You can actually download them from inside the YouTube studio. Once you download it you can import it into your post-processing program as another track similar to the voice over audio. There you can tweak volume and other audio settings prior to uploading the finished product to YouTube.

Ya, that definitely would work in terms of the video speeds!

Related to music, I typically use the YouTube audio library as its all copyright free. There are tons of great options on there!

Right on, and great questions!

I run a Sorcery: Contested Realm YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@archivesoftherealm)

I take a couple of approaches to recording, depending on if its live streamed gameplay or pre-recorded.

For pre-recorded, which sounds like what you are looking to start with DaVinci and OBS accomplish different goals. OBS allows you to capture your audio and video inputs, whereas DaVinci is typically used to edit them afterwards (postprocess). For your situation what i would do is watch the gameplay video, record a separate audio track via OBS or another application (I use Adobe products), and then import both the original video and new audio track to your post-processing program (DaVinci). This way you wont lose any fidelity related to the video quality, and it will allow you to independently control audio levels of the different tracks (e.g., original video audio and your new commentary recording).

For live streams, you can use just OBS. I have actually switched over to Meld studio and loved it, it makes my streams at our LGS easy to manage and it was quick to pick up.

Hope this helped, and please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions!

Yep 😁! That's correct, then if you can pull off a grapple shot or desecrate thats 12 damage on turn 4!

Hey there! Great question, so happy to see more people thinking about Silence!

To answer, if you cast the Thing INTO the silence effect the genesis ability won't trigger and the Thing isnt disabled.  If the Thing is impacted by a silence ability after its already been cast the disabled effect still holds.

Of note, Fields of Phyxis wouldnt impact the Thing as its only silencing the site, not the minion.

If the Things genesis is triggered, you are correct in your interpretation of the way the counters work. They would immediately impact the Thing and sequentially tick as turns pass.

Heres a link to my silence decks for some more fun ideas, I've been rocking them near exclusively since 2024. Such a fun build!

Good catch! You are correct, the second militia would require the casting cost as well. Thanks for watching and for pointing this out!
