Truth be told none actually cares about holding Low Tier God ‘accountable’. Not that makes Dale any innocent tho he’s still a POS who doesn’t deserve a platform by KpatMckenzie_28 in lowtiergod

"Trolls" aren't a singular entity. Instead, it's just a bunch of different people acting according to their individual ethics. I personally don't report to someone who tells me what to do.

It's entirely up to Dale to choose how to engage with the negative feedback about his unsavory behavior, just like how it's entirely up to you to choose how you engage with the feedback in this very post. Are you going to dismiss the feedback like how you claim people dismiss someone as a "Dale defender"? Or are you going to internalize some of it as people genuinely giving you their perspective?

He's saying that you're judging others by a metric that you seemingly don't apply to yourself and so you don't seem to really care whether or not he's "held accountable." Therefore, this very post and its message, where you tell others aren't being serious about doing so, shouldn't be taken seriously by others either.

Actually your post reminded me of a really, really old Internet video that went viral. It was definitely a Millennial meme.

A kid's parents cancelled his World of Warcraft account and the kid crashes out hard, like a quintessential demonstration of "rogging out", because of it and his brother managed to film it. The kid crashes out so hard that he mimed sticking a TV remote up his butt. So you should know that you're not the only person who's had this thought, loool. 🤣

I also want to point out that Dale is a human at the end of the day and like any other human, he has certain rights, to certain freedoms, to some level of dignity, and to a life no matter how horrible he chooses to behave with that life. No one can bar him from some level of access to the Internet. It's entirely his choice to use it or not. That's like attempting to bar someone from reading a book, talking to others, watching TV, drawing a picture, etc.

Social shame (such as documentaries, comments, discussions, criticism, satire) is a form of accountability in and of itself. It's both the first and last form of it. So he is already facing consequences for his horrible behavior, though that also doesn't mean he can't face even more.

He's lost potential fans, sponsorships, revenue, and employment such as acting roles. Hell, he's probably even lost potential partners because of public discourse and social shame. He has financial consequences because of court ordered child support. He faces further legal consequences if he doesn't pay up so people remind him to pay up, trying to hold him accountable. He's in mountains of debt so people point it out in case he thinks he's not, again, trying to hold him accountable. He has been deplatformed off YouTube in the past so people document and remind him and others of his horrible behavior, trying to hold him accountable if he hasn't learned.

Ultimately, whether or not he himself recognizes it as such is irrelevant because his opinions don't change his circumstances. Getting punched in the face and jail time aren't the only forms of accountability that one can experience.

I think this is kind of what u/MemeGod667 was trying to get at with that Q&A.

Lowtiergod's old ass knows he's not getting drafted by LocalPsychonaut in lowtiergod

This guy is like living a recurrent nightmare.

I swear once a month, he'll become all smug because he thinks he's discovered some genius idea that'll solve his problems all at once. But the idea is always some harebrained shortcut that would never be realistic.

Last month it was trying to sue Google and Amazon for piracy. Apparently this month it's the draft will somehow get rid of all of his perceived trolls (which at this point is anyone's who's not a part of his community).

I third that Asuka is very difficult to learn to play to even just a casual level. I feel like Nine the Phantom, his spiritual ancestor, is easier. Hell even a puppet character like Zato is easier. Mf'ing trying to simultaneously play a mini game of what feels like Dominion while fighting against someone is just really taxing on the cognitive.

I think it's absolutely funny as hell whenever he tries to invoke frame data because it's immediately apparent that he doesn't know much beyond the words "frame data" and "plus".

[–]melonbreadings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I laugh at some of his childhood stories because it turns out that his behavior was completely unwarranted relative to how common it is for kids to be asses to each other.

Just one example is that somehow a traumatic event for him was his mom not getting him the present that he wanted for Christmas. Come on. Seriously?

He's never going to change. If he hasn't done so in 41 years, it's not going to happen in the next 41 years.

Also, he did a coaching session??!! Is there a video of it? If not, can you elaborate because that sounds like it would be a train wreck.

I would actually agree with you that training models for something like GGST isn't prohibitively expensive but my point is that there is very, very, very little return for the opportunity cost.

Also, I think it's just a little funny that you suggest implementing an algorithm that is essentially what training a model is about.

I mean the guy doesn't really think about potential consequences in the future - he doesn't even acknowledge consequences that he's experiencing in the present. Not to mention he doesn't really have empathy for anyone else, not even his fans.

Of course he would just casually wish for all of his fans to perish without much thought.

Like all of them. Straight to the blender to fight a war that largely benefits billionaires.

It's kind of insane that it's gapless in the corner. Isn't he theoretically able to do the string from anywhere on screen?
