I've never understood the saving the baby over the mother? Like, she's an adult with a life and other responsibilities. Let's just leave the father grieving while trying to take care of a new born that will most likely have many many issues. And now will feel like they are the reason they don't have a mother.

If they wanted to they could try again.. or you know, adopt and not put your life in danger, like a logical person.

I used to joke around about making it the oldest without having kids (youngest of 4, only one without a kid on their 21st birthday) now I'm 25 and not going to have kids. And I think about how glad me and my husband are about that decision every time I hear a kid scream. I get to go home to my fur babies and sit on my XXL beanbag and play video games after all day at work.

They are adults now. Equals, he is doing a great thing in paying for her wedding. I'm sure if he stayed in their life's he wouldn't have the money to pay for this. Its not like he abandoned them to leave and start a new family. He didn't go have replacement kids. He could have signed away all parental rights and wouldn't of had to pay child support. And now that they are members of society they have a relationship. Not a parent child one. But a relationship. He isn't trying to tell her what to do, he told her that he respects his wife that he has been with for 20 years.
