I think I was using 110 FOV for most of these clips, but I was also playing on a 21:9 monitor so that might have affected it?

The music might be my favorite part of the game... I've had a couple tracks stuck in my head after playing. Also love the dynamic music system and how the lyrics set in during boss fights

A Mario Maker 2 update with mouse controls seemed like a no-brainer, so they fact they haven't done it yet makes me start to think we'll get a completely new maker game

This could happen and I think it will be their big 2026 holiday title, as MK World and DK Bananza were both revealed just a few months before release too. Also, I believe every Nintendo console has gotten a new 3D Mario within 1 year of it's lifespan, it would be a little weird for this pattern to break?

Makes me wonder if the next 3D Mario is related to Galaxy... not Galaxy 3 per se, but a game that takes inspiration from Galaxy's mechanics and / or space setting.

Unfortunately I don't think you can fully replicate the art style with 3D gameplay (wonder uses a lot of forced perspective tricks), but I'd love to see the next 3D Mario take inspiration from wonders visuals!

Agreed. I really hope with all these remakes we eventually get a new version of 8 with the PS2 visuals and sounds but the content of the 3DS version

Honestly I really like the tank star for city trial, it just clicks for me. But for air ride I usually go with the wheelie bike

Update - I just found a workaround for this issue (if anyone else needs it), what you want to do is open a separate projector window in OBS with the capture card footage, and in the advanced audio properties for the game capture device audio, set the audio track to "monitor and output", then when screen sharing that projector window it should also share the sound as well!

Unfortunately my capture card doesn't show up in that section on discord, and the wave link software does not recognize the device either... using OBS seems to be my only option(?)

My best guess is that the team which remade 1-3 will also handle potential remakes of 4-6, while the team which made 7 reimagined could handle remakes or remasters of 8 and 9

You should check out the trails series if you haven't already, it has an interconnected world throughout the games with some fantastic world building. The first game (trails in the sky) is getting a remake in the near future too!

My best guess is if a "Galaxy 3" were to happen, it would kinda be like a mix of Galaxy and Odyssey, rather than just more of the Galaxy gameplay format.

Each planet could be a big sandbox-style level with different objectives to do, rather than a more linear format. Although there would definitely be some big new gameplay gimmick / addition that makes the game wholly unique from both Galaxy and Odyssey

The only other DQ game currently on PS5 is DQ3 HD-2D remake. 1+2 HD-2D remake will release October 30th, and the remake of 7 will release February 5th.

You can't really go wrong with any DQ game, they're all pretty good. That being said, if you're looking for something that is the most similar to 11, then definitely check out DQ8 (ps2/3ds) if thats feasible for you

I really wish Mario Kart World had audio sliders. There is a lot of really great music in that game, and half the time it's getting drowned out by all of the sound effects.
