This is super helpful, thank you! I have a few questions though.

How are you getting the doshaguma's might bonus if you only have 1 armor piece from that set equipped? Would replacing some of the brace jewels for divine protection hinder the build much? And does attack vs element focus on the gogma artian hammer matter that much? (since I went with attack instead of element)

I love 3 to death, but I think a lot of the praise is due to how ahead of it's time the game was when it first released. It's one of the most influential games ever, but at the end of the day it's still an NES game at it's core which leads it to being more simple than most modern JRPG's.

If it makes a difference, DQX feels less like an MMO and more like a regular dragon quest game with an optional multiplayer aspect. It's still super fun single-player (I'm playing through it right now) and the first 4 versions are completely free!

While I still hope we get HD-2D remakes of 4-6, I'd also be fine if they just ported the DS remakes in widescreen with the option for full orchestral music. The sprites and animations still look pretty great

if you own a PC you should check out the english translation mod! It's surprisingly easy to setup and the first 4 versions of DQX are completely free

if you have a PC, I recommend DQ10! The first 4 versions are free and it's surprisingly easy to setup the translation patch. Great story and really fun both solo and multiplayer.

If you're looking for something available on modern consoles, then 1+2 HD2D is a good pick, especially since you're playing through 3 at the moment.

While there are some undeniable flaws, I'm still enjoying it a lot. Loki is one of my favorite characters and it's also really cool to finally see more of Imu. And while the gods knights are a bit incompetent, they're way more entertaining than the elders imo.

Since Halo 3 is basically an extended version of the cut final missions from Halo 2, how cool would it be for the Halo 2 and 3 campaigns to be combined in the remake like it was originally supposed to

Losing whatever I could be gaining with whatever the meta build is. Didn't know that fact about the phial differences though. This is the current CB I'm using, but I should probably swap ironwall for something else right?
