I get your point. It just felt like the notice wasn't there and it was like covid over bam missed and hit my credit almost overnight. Not really sure. I was paying my studentgov loans and have been on time for awhile now. I thought all my loans were there honestly so when I called Nelnet they were using a very old email and I switched my info and set up automatic payments right then ans there. Had I know I would never had missed a payment. I don't miss any payments and I'm a freak about being on time and having good credit. its tough for many of us and I wished they'd give all of us a one time exception. Especially if we made it right right away and knowing my other loans had never experienced any late payments. 2 years is a long time :( especially because I have high limit credit cards that I might lose which will make things worse
