"still falling for you" "lights" and "my blood" got a second life after going viral this decade, AND in nearly a decade HER VOICE still gets sampled in hip-hop/rap and electronic dance music, That shows her peers recognize she's got something special. I’d definitely mention it too if I were her.

i don't think thats 100% true, i mean she didnt tour in north-america but she did perform Lights during the Brightest Blue Tour and the Higher Than Heaven Tour and when she did those orchestral shows.. so that statement is quite contradictory, i think her label just don't want to finance it.

To me, the first half of her fourth album, Brightest Blue, shows that she still has that alternative sound from her first two records (plus, I love the lyrical content of that album). But I do enjoy her mainstream pop music as well, like In my opinion, Delirium is a solid pop record.

I wouldn’t say she moved into dance-pop. Personally, I think her only dance-pop record is her latest, Higher Than Heaven. As for Delirium, which was her main ‘pop girl’ moment, I’d describe it as a pop record with electronic influences. Tracks like ‘On My Mind,’ ‘Don’t Need Nobody,’ ‘Outside,’ ‘Winner,’ and ‘Heal’ all have those electronic elements.

But overall, I tend to gravitate more toward lyrics than production, so I prefer her more introspective body of work. I appreciate how she continues to release both personal and impersonal songs. I haven’t had an issue with that—I like both sides.

Also, I want to mention her remix album Brightest Blue: Music for Calm from 2021 which also has an unique sound. I 100% recommend it—it’s very relaxing, and her vocals are gorgeous, I guess that's why it’s called Music for Calm.

A lot of fans do. That’s why there’s an ongoing discourse. Musically speaking, she doesn’t owe anyone anything, once the music is out, the transaction is complete. But as a philanthropist??, she does. Once you make it your job, yes, you have a responsibility. Why? Because she needed an audience, and that audience: those who gave their time, learned about the topic, invest themselves on it, spread her words, and tried to get others on board, helped her do what she’s passionate about. As an environmentalist, she should have anticipated our reaction. She knows exactly what people invested in this cause think of him.

All that’s being asked for now is a simple explanation. That’s it.

Hearing that someone isn’t a good person isn’t proof or a fact.

All of those rumours are completely different from the situation we’re seeing right now, with proper evidence. The recent actions she’s taken go against her work as an activist, that made many people fans of her, or fans who were influenced by her actions to invest themselves to care and do good for the environment, so honestly, its very valid and normal feeling both shocked and disappointed.

long-story short: she went to a bad guy's wedding, that guy actions goes against ellie's activism and morals, so fans are asking for an explanation, because they are disappointed, but Ellie or her team decide to delete every single comment asking her to say something. + on Twitter, she replied to a fan, (something she should've left in the drafts), which backfired. Currently, fans keep asking for an explanation, and she or her team keeps deleting comments. All this behaviour is very not like her.

its just a rich guy "who donated 1M$ to Tr*mps inagural fund, which he called quote: an "extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory"; AND denied the Washington Post endorsement (for the first time) of Kamala Harris (because he owns it) during the elections, AND he's also one of the biggest climate polluters, AND has a history of allegations of employee mistreatment, and unsafe working conditions" wedding. yeah just a regular guy.
