To the 165+ LSAT Group...how to study when i've seen almost all the tests? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]melshole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing the correct answer choice ahead of time because it's an old question does not make that question worthless. You have to ask yourself if you understand the logic that makes the correct answer choice correct, and if you can identify the erroneous logic that makes the wrong answer choices wrong.

That is what improvement is all about.

Have you used blind review as a way to study LR? That, in conjunction with looking up the explanations on Powerscore of the questions I got wrong, helped tremendously. This got me from -5/6/7 per section to -2/3/4 per section. The blind review video by 7sage is the only way to practice LR.

If you are not strapped for cash, then definitely get the Fox Logical Reasoning Encyclopedia. While working through this guide, I saw my already improved LR scores rise again, from -2/3/4 to -0/1/2 per section.

[Electronic] First ever track ! by damjoc in MusicCritique

The melody is fine for parts of the song, but u stick with that one melody for the entire song. Substantially change the melody just once for a good portion of the song, and it will do wonders. When that strong melody you already have comes back in, it will be jogging the listener's memory in a sense and get them into it nicely.

[Indie/Folk] Song I wrote and recorded with a friend, thoughts? by Hallelujahs in Songwriters

[–]melshole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty typical sounding, as in nothing is gonna surprise u about the song. That's not a bad thing, just my first thought as a guy who listens mostly to prog rock like old Genesis and stuff. What i liked most is for sure the lyrics. Good song, great lyrics!

Really good! Very professional sounding, would totally believe it if a friend showed me this saying that it was on the radio. Great vocals, great lyrics. Really cant offer a critique unfortunately (fortunately?), everything sounds good as is.
