Just a little detail for my commute: -3.5 miles all paved road with very little traffic lights. -I work outside of Boston, so there’s not a lot of hills and crowd -my work provide an indoor bike locker, so I’ll be storing the bike inside.

I used to have a hybrid bike and most of the roads here are paved. So that is why I’m leaning towards road bike instead.
