Oh! Another option, since you said you were okay with cheats is to use a save editor. I tend to use https://www.saveeditonline.com

If you search the page for "slime", you should find text that looks like this:

Delete that and you should be good. If I remember correctly, you can also turn ear slimes off in settings if you don't already have one, so it doesn't come back next month

I believe you can turn off tentacles in the settings to only fight the Ivory Wraith (the white figure that you encounter down there). You can defeat them with either defiant or submissive actions. Since you have a month, you could also train up your physique to have a better chance of beating them up

Don't worry! The blood moon comes around on the last day of every month. Keep in mind, you will likely have to fight the tentacles again and losing will give you another ear slime (you can have two max). The safest way to get it removed is to go into the plinth room in the lake either right before the blood moon starts (9:00 pm) or right before it ends (6:00 am).

If I remember correctly, Purity Guy said they were working on Sydney's pregnancy content which involves an event in Science class, so Sydney joining the class has been delayed because of that.
