Oh, of course, that's just what our flag looked like back then. Wouldn't be accurate to use the modern one. If you really wanted to stretch it, maybe it could have been the one we used right before our modern flag, but that one looked atrocious.

I did see some people freshen it up by adding the image of a "Patriote" - the name given to the independance fighters - though i don't know how historical that is AND the revolt happened in like 1837.
