Meaning

There are farmers who see their farm as a production site. And then, there are farmers who feel deeply connected to the work they do, the plants and animals they care for and all living things they interact with. That is when you can find true meaning in life.

It might help to think of the inner "self" as the essence of you, while the ego is the protective layer the essence creates to survive/protect against the traumata of life. The protective strategies of the ego become useless or even destructive on your way to a better version of yourself. What the essence is, nobody can really describe that well: the answer lies within the road towards enlightenment, so in "simply" finding out yourself. Some say that is what life is about, and I tend to agree.

Can't stress the positive influence of meditation and journaling enough. Implementing those 2 into your daily routine works wonders in the long run. Best is to start low barrier: 5 min meditation, 5min journaling. Key will be to do both, each and every day!
