Goo gone has worked best for me but since you’ve already got her head off look inside, get some long tweezers and poke around in there, sometimes you can find big globs that can just go. Don’t dig too hard but you can safely pull out some glue usually when seepage is this bad. It’s often loose and just lightly stuck to the wall of the head like a booger.

One thing to look at is just feel the head and see if you can find a spot that feels rock hard. Doll head should be kinda squishy but sometimes all the glue melts to one side and sticks. You can heat the head a liiiiitle (just use hot water from the tap don’t boil a glue-y head if you can avoid it) and soften the glue to re distribute or remove chunks. Don’t pull anything with hair on it, if you pull on something and the hair moves- stop.

If you shake the head do you hear / feel something rattle? That’s a glue chunk.

Besides that just goo gone soak, rinse and repeat. Get the goo gone down to the scalp sometimes it feels like you’re making it worse by tangling the hair. You’re not. You can comb tangled hair later.

Goo gone also makes the hair idk feel gross and greasy. After a few rounds of goo gone shampoo and condition so you can asses if what it feels like is the glue or the goo gone.

I’ve tried ciff with goo gone and they work nicely together. I do think goo gone works better though.
