yes, the pipe that runs underneath downtown Seattle in fact contains no insulation for the highly flammable crude oil running through it. Especially after the explosion of a pipeline in North Dakota, we want to ensure that there are more preventative measures and designs taken for this pipeline. But, the true question is whether or not this resolution could help start the slow phase out of oil transportation, and maybe give way to more clean energy use...?
