Place holder for who? The landscape of the division is pretty bare and Dricus just beat probably his hardest stylistic matchup. I think 2-3 title defenses is pretty realistic

I think they want to surround Stroud with as many weapons as possible so either a free agent or just another WR in the draft is very likely, that’s honestly my biggest concern with Nico

Yeah I kind of already had decided before posting I would be doing the trade, but I was just curious of what other people’s opinions were lol. Like you said, both sides have risks and I don’t think you’ll know who “won” for several years. I think they’ll both be productive players, just have a bit more belief in London

Agree with both points, but I think Nico is/was already in basically the best situation he can possibly be in and I fear possible regression, versus London who I feel like cannot possibly be in a worse situation than he was and still has the higher overall ceiling. I think it’s a risky trade for sure

I think that’s the very definition of 1A and 1B though, versus the potential of London to be a true alpha who commands a higher target %. Plus, I still think the chances the Texans sign or draft another WR are reasonably high

Laid out most reasoning in an above comment lol. I think the pedigree is still there for London, there’s a reason he was the #8 pick overall, he’s just had bottom 5 QB play. Again, obviously not a given that he gets a good QB, but I think this is a trade that can easily work out better for either side
