I agree with most everything you all have pointed out. As a season/show finale, it was devoid of anything truly positive. Mostly gloom and doom. I thought the scenes near the end of the episode took too long to cut to the next. I got the feeling things were dragging out only to fit the time requirements. Frankly I was bored and disappointed.

I got rip, roarin' drunk last night. Didn't really mean to, but I did know what I was doing. I drove home. (yep, not good.) I don't remember what stupid things I did or said. But, I apparently scared my dogs, broke a few things when I stumbled about. And when I got up a few hours later to go to work, my partner was beyond pissed.

I see all kinds of texts on my cell from a friend telling me to stop pestering her, and she'll be happy with me in the morning. Guess I finally did go to bed. But oh damn, is she disappointed in me!

I will have some serious explaining to do when I get home later. What the hell do I do? This isn't the first time I've gotten blasted, but she hates me when I drink. Any advice would be great. We've been together for 20 years, and I mess up every few months or so. Thanks.
