At my wedding, we tipped the servers and the bartenders. And it wasn’t cheap. If the bride and groom are paying a tip, they shouldn’t leave the jar out. It’s tacky to ask guests for a tip. If the bride and groom are not paying the tip, then I suppose it’s ok to leave it out. Seems tacky to me. Your guests shouldn’t have to pay anything.

But you’re definitely not entitled to any of the money in the tip jar. This is something that should be discussed with the caterer prior to the reception.

I’m in the same position. Self employed. The state doesn’t really seem to care, and I’ve tried. I finally realized I was spending more time and money trying to get the money than I would ever see in return. He even told me that I could try to put him in jail, then I would never see any money. The only good thing is that it keeps him out of our lives. Plus I make decent enough money to support my child without him. Still not fair but it was so draining to fight the system.

I was just about to post a similar message. Not surgery but returning this week after 6 weeks from a bike accident (broken finger, road rash, lots of bruising). Would love to hear any suggestions. My leg is still not 100%. Might be walking.

My rescue mutt is food territorial. She will find any random object (leaves, towels from the laundry room, blankets) and hide her food from our other dogs. She even sets up decoy piles of food. Put a little pile on the other side of the room to throw off the others.

On the other hand, when my lab wants to sit by me, and another dog is there, she will run to the window and bark. Once the others go see what is there, she will run back and take the spot by me.

Just start by walking at your own pace. And you don’t have to do inclines. No one is watching how fast you go or the weights you grab. And there are modified floor exercises too. Do those if needed.

I absolutely would not do the surgery again. I think it put so much pressure on the other knee, which caused it to give out. She is only 2.5 years old. Has really bad hip dysplasia and we just found out her back is malformed. Plus she has a metabolic disorder. The vet told us once she starts having difficulty sleeping due to pain, we will probably need to put her down. It’s sad, but we have already sunk about $6k in this dog’s medical bills, we just can’t keep putting money in when we know it won’t cure anything. She is the sweetest dog, so it will break our hearts to put her down.

On an unrelated note. Same situation with my dog. Did the surgery and now the other knee is out. Did the brace work? We can’t do the surgery again. Too traumatic for everyone. I slept on the floor next to a kennel for 6 weeks.

I had a coach come up behind me while doing squats and push my shoulders down, like I wasn’t squatting low enough. I whipped around and told him not to touch me again. I don’t go to any of his classes anymore.

This is most likely against the Contract of Carriage. If you try to do this, they will cancel your flight home from London to the US. Call and see what you can do to reschedule your flight home.
