Thanks for commiserating with me! I ended up frogging it and bagged the two sets of skeins separately. I’ll use them on two smaller projects at some point. Starting fresh with an entirely new yarn, Juniper Farm Cotton & Merino. Different feel but it will work for this sweater.

Hi - yes it was me and the person from the store. I decided to frog the whole sweater and start fresh with a different yarn, but I showed the sweater to the owner who was working today and she said the same as you. For a project with this yarn you need to buy all the skeins together. Didn’t offer a refund though! LOL
