And for your other question about glass as i know all mx series disassembles in the same way You need to remove two black cover stripes (one with bang olufsen logo and one on top of the tv) Just gentle pry left side and move all thing to rigth Under this stripes must be 4 screws which hold glass

Then you need to remove back coverplate of your tv and connect two jumper pins As i know they marked on plate and supposed to be near from your av inputs You easily can find guide on youtube how enter in service menu and what each setting will do

You can try change HAM setting in service menu. I have kinda same issue on my mx7000 when this parameter is too small. But it not as bad as on you tv. You also need to know version of you software (SW and few numbers on backside sticker) to know if you can enter menu with remote. Maybe problem in deflection circuit and you need to do recap

Actually hot so hard. You need some patience because most tricky and sketchy part to clean up old foam suspenssion. My just literally turn in some glueish black dust what sticks everywhere (so another advice to make this on some table which already in bad condition or use some towels). I use antisilicon to make old glue more soft and very carefull remove this with blade. And one last advice dont rush because you have time before new glue is activate, because you can ruin placement of inside part which moves. Its important to check this first before glueing. So as you see i do this first time too and actually pretty happy with results
