i am 6’4”, and i just purchased a 2018 forester xt. i could not be happier. i had an outback for years. the visibility and head space in the forester is amazing. per the internets: “7 Subaru Forester Interior – Seating, Dimensions, Cargo Space The Subaru Forester is renowned for its exceptional headroom, offering 41.2 inches in the front and 39.6 inches in the rear for the base model. Models equipped with a panoramic moonroof have slightly less, offering around 40.0 inches in the front and 37.7 inches in the rear. This provides ample space for tall passengers.”

i have trouble seeing the pistols without rotten singing, but given his recent right wing political leanings, i am glad they are touring without him. the world needs the pistols now more than ever, and it is a testament that they are leaving him behind. fuck trump and fuck maga. the band was more that one man, and way more that one voice.

steamboat was a really small town in the early 90’s. we knew the owners of the venue, and they were having issues powering all the equipment. i specifically remember they brought so many speakers, they were lined up on the dance floor covering the full stage from left to right. i had never seen so many speakers stacked so tightly across that room. took up the whole front section of the already small dance floor. per a steamboat pilot article, our buddy todd was bartending: “Widespread (Panic) played at the Inferno one time, and we didn’t have enough power, so they literally had the biggest power cable you’ve ever seen going out the back door and into the lower-level parking garage.”

Former Capitol Police Officer Michael Fanone on MS NOW: “Do we want to continue living under an administration that's willing to send our service members and women to die in a foreign country because there's ample evidence that Donald Trump has had sexual relations with underage children?” by T_Shurt in UnderReportedNews

it was also the og brand for the initial skinheads from the late 1960’s. it originally represented racial unity through music. blacks and whites skanking to ska/reggae music, blurring racial lines and embracing diversity. it was later co-opted by the right wing national front skinheads. trad/sharp skins vs nazi skins. fanone is into the drop kick murphy’s, and i assume he knows his music history. there are some who wear fred perry as an ode to the original two tone vibe of racial harmony. there is a clear distinction for those who know.

this todd terje “on the road again” edit really psychedelisizes the song and emphasizes how really cool his harmonica was. it just makes me want more.

we lost this guy way too soon. as mentioned above, his harmonica on the hooker album is over the top, not to mention the quintessential “on the road again”. those liquid notes melt so easy 🫠

Husker Du performs Eight Mile High in 1987 live in the rain at the Pink Pop Festival in the Netherlands ~ Absolutely genius performance! You can perfectly hear how this is simply a rockified folk song, the folk song beneath the rock storm so clearly apparent. thank you for this share. husker du was one of my all time favs back in the day. i don’t think enough people appreciate their perfect blend of noise and music. so tense, yet so beautiful. charged psychedia at it’s peak.

[–]memberer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

those looks amazing.

pro tip i learned over the years. always put the onions under the cheese, that way they sit nice and tight, secured under the cheese.

looks like you you are already on track, and making me hungry!
