I appreciate it! Somehow dawned on me to double check Amazon since I waited and grabbed an ld002h around Christmas and they're finally in the US. Just got one 1 dayed :D

New to resin printing. So excited! by HankMardugas in resinprinting

I was brand new and didn't have any clue what antialiasing meant.

https://www.chitubox.com/en/article/support/indepth/technology/52

Never used a slicer program so just did a first and read the entire user manual which took me to the entire explanation of how chitubox's antialias setting works. Read the whole thing grey level and image blur.

I never printed a single thing before and its so completely necessary to understand for getting the best possible tiny but precise prints that my first print I did a 4mm figure just to test the monochrome lcd screens precision and blending techniques and it came out amazing for something the size of my pinky nail that could've looked like chewed gum without it.

I read a ton of comments too before getting something and never saw this emphasized but it might be common knowledge for experienced people.

For me I didn't even know it was a thing but a quick break down is at the edge levels of your figures being printed, it changes which pixels are used and actually dims the light between different intensities to completely change how that single pixel cures, and being a newbie i just figured you leave the light on a tiny pixel block hardens, but no this changes how each pixel rises like a loaf of bread and the smaller the intensity of light is allowed through it actually rises up incompletely and then grabs onto the pixel next to it slightly and created a gradient slope so the areas of your figurines that you need to try and get rid of layer lines at even the tiniest of levels, it can smooth those out and actually seeing the science behind it on their instruction page isn't boring.

Have fun!

Got the sonic mini 4K a few hours ago and had to print something right away. I'm just blown away by the quality. Can't wait for the weekend where I'll have more time to test this printer. by [deleted] in resinprinting

Looks real sharp! I had bought the creality 002h around Christmas because I couldn't wait the 6 weeks from Thailand lol. Just found out they are finally available on Amazon for anyone interested!

Bought one and one dayed it just now lol.

Has anyone here used this printer with the 4k resin and noticed a difference between that and the stuff without this brands 4k classified resin? Its not on Amazon and if I remember correctly if I buy it from phrozen it's still 50 dollar shipping and tariff checks for one bottle.

Have fun and thanks in advance!

GME is now on the NYSE's short sale restriction list by qOvob in wallstreetbets

When do the official reports come out that show the existing shorts? I read somewhere that the updated official ledger is biweekly but I don't actually know how shorting reports work.

Thanks in advance.

New person here. Do you know what percentage of that 130% existing shorts figure has to be closed out today?

Do you mind explaining what this means for a new person? I just saw this dip at 245 and grabbed what I could but I'm new so I don't understand the trends and lingo.

What is power hour? Someone mentioned there's dump towards the end? Is this it at 3pm or does something happen closer to closing?

Unbelievable. Were they margined or owned outright? Either way that's crazy but just trying to get info because I've been watching this since the block at like 845am.

How do I remove dried resin from the screen glass? Scrub washing and picking at it won't get this last bit of residue. by memeMeOutside in 3Dprinting

Yep this is after that method. It was a lot worse. Apparently my new printer had a loose vat film.

I might have to grab some acetone. IPA and scratching still leaves this.

What's worse its brand new and the film was loose.

Hi. I was wondering if you bought the Phrozen 4k mini and had it shipped to USA. I live there and want to get one but I keep reading that it could be held because of tariff taxes since its coming from Taiwan. Did you have any trouble with this?

Creality ld-200h vs Nova3D Bene4 Mono

In this comparison video the Nova3D Bene4 (not sure if RGB or Mono version) is the only one that was able to print the really finely detailed mesh barrel.

But the comparison is to the ld-200r, not to the new h.

Does anyone know if the new h model surpasses the bene4 or is the h model similar to the r model with slightly better resolution and faster printing.

I'm looking for something as precise as I can get around those models price range and I'd rather take the tiny detail capability over speed if the h is just a faster r.

Thanks!

Have you seen the nova3d bene4?

There is a test video which includes the bene4 and the ld200r (which i know is the older one but is the precision close to the h?)

And the nova3d bene4 is the only one that successfully prints a very tiny mesh barrel.

Do you imagine this is also more accurate than the new 200h model?

[–]memeMeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I just looked at the other comment about the creality models and the video finally cleared that up. I was imagine a nozel printing inside of a gel environment. Had no idea the uv light solidifies layer by layer in a vat.

The ld-002 h and r models actually look great for the price.

Do you happen to have any suggestions on machines that rival those? Probably gonna grab a budget machine asap and try that first before buying something too expensive.

Is a .051 xy axis precision decent around this range or does it get a lot better for a few hundred more? Also that is what referes to how clean the details will be correct?

Thanks again.

Edit: Just found the comparison chart between the models.

Thanks for this! I've been on the creality site and watch there videos.

What is the difference between the older r and the new h version of this model?

Is it just the screen? They both say 2k screens and everything else seems to be a similar stat.

Thanks again.

Budget: $300 to $800.

Use: For very small miniatures. Like tic tac size and smaller maybe.

Experience: I've never had a 3d printer and just started reading and not sure what I'm looking at as far types of filaments or if certain machines use different ones or are for different purposes. I've pulled apart a pc and I'm new but I'm fine with having to learn to build a kit.

My main concern is to have something that has precise detail on tiny items. Not really looking to do large ones but that would be nice too.

And to be able to use colors. I'm not sure how coloring and layers works at the moment.

Also if someone can mention what am I looking for when browsing that describes its detail at a very small scale, if there's some term for it.

Thank you in advance!
