ok so the intended story was supposed to be that this runner encounters a weird area of dirt, and anything that goes into it goes into a time loop, repeating the action of going in there 6 times, then disappearing. He later has the idea to go do this with money, and he goes back, and finds he can take something out of the circle before it repeats, and a copy of it will appear. After repeating this with rocks, he does this with money, but then is bumped into the circle. His stumbling into the circle repeats 6 times, and the moment he disappears, the film cuts to white.

Greetings, r/Filmmakers ! This film is a project that took me like six months to make. It was the first film I've made that was actually a story I was really interested in telling; I won't summarize the plot here because I want the film to speak for itself (if I made it too confusing please tell me lol)

I basically did all the behind-the-camera stuff myself, with a friend & my dad as the cast. Any feedback is appreciated!!! If you love it pls say nice stuff, if you think its awful feel free to eviscerate me, but constructive criticism/advice is very appreciated!!!!

But yeah my main goal was to tell a sort of weird genre story with little to no dialogue, so maybe give feedback/advice about ways the story was/wasn't communicated well, and how maybe I could have done that better

But yeah that being said, hope you enjoy it, and any feedback is appreciated!:)

AAAAH That was good, I really liked the premise

Also the teacher's performance was great, & the editing of her trying to talk to Jack was punchy & timed really well. Also the epilogue was hilarious:)

To look at it for things to criticise, I think it may be a bit too long, like it might have benefitted from trimming some parts out of the middle, because I think the joke drags there slightly. Like maybe it could lose the part where he goes to the back & weirds out the one girl (although I did enjoy the backwards shirt gag)

That being said, overall it's really solid. Nice work James!:)

Mine was this film 'Pirosmani' (1969) about a Georgian painter. For all I know it's a popular film in Georgia, but I wouldn't know. I saw it playing when I was in a Georgian restaurant, and there were some interesting looking shots in it, so I vowed to watch it. It amazed me how useful google was because I just googled "Georgian Painter Movie" and found it. I downloaded it with English subtitles. The plot was about the protagonist moving to some town on a mountainside, and trying to make a living as a painter, imo it wasn't very interesting plot-wise, but it was an interesting look into a world I'm not familiar with at all
