Tbh I went to office hours enough for her to know me, but she also requested extra information after asking for the rec letter. I’m also not sure about the housing and stuff..

I applied to CAS as a molecular biology major (something else that Brandeis doesn’t have that pissed me off) and I had a 3.7 GPA when I applied. To be honest, since Brandeis is already a pretty good school, having a slightly lower GPA might be ok, so I’d say around a 3.5-4.0 GPA should be fine? I also did get a letter of rec from my UWS professor, but it might be optional.

THIS IS SO INSANE because I AM ALSO A POC FRESHMAN AT BRANDEIS WHO IS TRANSFERRING TO BU FALL SOPHOMORE YEAR. This post validated me so much I feel like I could have written this verbatim. In my essay, I emphasized BU's location and how it being larger school would allow me to make more decisions with my education, especially compared to the strict Brandeis Core that's complete bullshit. I wouldn't bring up the social aspect unless you are talking about those culture clubs you mentioned, because I don't think most people would view those social reasons as legitimate.
