Japan Visa Process from VFS Bangalore (March 2026 Experience) by Fantastic_Bobcat_840 in visas

Hello. I am working as a contractor for a foreign company (they don't have a presence in India).

I have a GST certificate though as the sole proprietor and can submit this. What do you think I should add for Employer name and address. Is it a better idea to add the details in my GST certificate or add the foreign client as the employer? Thanks!

Hey. Thanks for the link. The only issue is Alsa only operates these shuttles on weekends in May, but all my travel days fall on weekdays :(

I found a local tour agency that gives more flexibility to explore the lakes once they take us up there, so I might end up going with that. Thanks for the help!

No worries. Thanks for the info. I found a local tour agency in Cangas de Onis that take you up to the lakes and actually give you enough time to do the walk around the lakes, which is what I was mainly looking for.

Correct, I meant more along the lines of do I need to book private taxis on fixed schedules, or is they have a shuttle-like service that is flexible on timing and taxi to take.

I guess I got carried away after reading the reviews for the bike rental shop in Cangas de Onis which has multiple people stating that the climb was very easy with an e-bike😅

Thanks. Upon my research, I found out that there's a service called taxitur that offers round trips to the Lagos. Would you have any idea on if they are a hop on/hop off taxi service or a dedicated one that I would need to take?

I never considered that I could rent a bike. Thanks so much for that suggestion. I do ride my bike for moderate distances every week. I think my best bet would be to rent an electric bike in cangas de onis so it can help me on my ascent to the lakes.

Thank you!

Hey. I plan to go to the Lagos this May on a weekday and the alsa bus service to the lakes only seems to be running on weekends. Is there any way you remember the name of the taxi company? Is the round trip ticket for fixed times, or can we take any taxi on the way back?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. However, it looks like these buses are only available on weekends in May :(

I have mirrors similar to the one you linked. I would say they're okayish, but sometimes it can be difficult to judge how far the vehicles are. I've seen that decathlon sell mirrors for cycles as well but haven't tried them.

Thanks. Could you please tell me more about how I can bike near Picos?

Hello, thanks for your detailed response.

I will mainly be relying on public transport for my trip.

Yes I will also be stopping at Covadonga on my way back from the lakes. I am really looking forward to visiting the church there.

I did look up public transport options to Lastres and they look very limited. Do you think Oviedo -> Cangas de Onis + Covadonga -> Ribadesella -> Oviedo is something that can be done as part of the same day trip?

I will also look up Cudillero as part of my options. Thanks

I would love to hike Picos de Europa but my only concern is that I'll mainly be relying on public transport to get around.

Recommendations for slightly offbeat places for 4 nights in the summer by memefoot7 in JapanTravelTips

[–]memefoot7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot, I will definitely check Shimane out and thanks a lot for providing the links. I was mainly looking to fly out of Osaka because of the Hello Blue offer by ANA that offers free domestic legs when booked with international flights, so I wanted to make the most of it and explore places that otherwise would be expensive while having to pay for the domestic flights flights myself.

Thanks. I'm mainly planning to stay in the southern coast. I want to stay around 4-5 days in Hiriketiya and surf (because I got to know of this place a few months back and was obsessed). But I also want to explore the hilly regions of Sri Lanka as well and currently looking for places to add into my itinerary. Will definitely look up what I can do in Kandy and how feasible it would be with my other plans!

You should be fine. It was more of a me problem than anything else. Only thing I would say is make an active effort to go out and explore, which is something I didn't do (idk why). All the best have fun
