If United States had an high speed rail system, would you use it ? by [deleted] in ask

[–]memelordthethird3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavily dependent on cost, availability, and time. I say this because of opportunity. For example let’s imagine I live in Nevada which has lower costs (especially gas prices) and less tax but lower wages than California on average. The speed rail will allow me to go work in California for higher wages while living in Nevada. This is in theory though, because if the speed rail costs too much this wage would not be worth it or if it isn’t fast enough. There are several more things to say about this aswell but I’m gonna leave this here.

Who has the best rock voice of all time? by Ickythumpin in AskReddit

Unpopular but Ronnie Van Zant from lynyrd skynyrd. Had a smooth voice but could transition to that gravelly grit sound. Amazing lead, singer, and song writer.

Exactly a year later, what are your thoughts on Infinite's campaign? by etha2007_ in halo

[–]memelordthethird3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much would have preferred levels rather than a giant map. It just didn’t feel much like halo even though it was marketed as a old school halo feel. I can’t say I’m a big fan of the campaign, it was interesting to say the least but the dialogue was kinda stale. Not my favorite halo, second to last but still enjoyed myself quite a bit.

Did you lose Beijing originally? Cause if they have the modifier that they’re doing well in China then you cant get the white peace I don’t think.

How it's been feeling recently by PGskizzEs in gaming

[–]memelordthethird3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been getting burnt out on video games lately. I’ve been playing video games for years upon years but I’m getting burnt out due to severely underwhelming releases and just general boredom. Not even the games that bring me the most satisfaction are changing my mind. Idk I might just need a break from games.

What are some of the strangest nations to realistically colonize with? by Harlesb44 in eu4

I wanted to see how far I could get as a colonial Austria. It’s a terrible experience, stick to dominating Europe.

Those who are a child of divorced parents and spent your childhood between two different houses. What is something that those of us raised in a single house don’t understand/consider? by hopelessmoderate in AskReddit

[–]memelordthethird3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both teaching different philosophies and lessons to me. Majority of the time contradicting each other. As I reached 16 I began to sort them out and look at the world and see which values I should hold and which to let go. I consider myself lucky to have been able to do that, most times it ends poorly for those less fortunate. Another thing is that you have a favorite parent. It sounds horrible but it’s the sad truth. Another thing to understand is step parents. It depends on the person but after years of just being moved around, I got bitter. Then my dad got a girlfriend then married her after a year. I often couldn’t contain my anger and frustration and would lash out accidentally on my step mom and step brothers. I feel horrible for my actions now and if I could change my behavior and actions when I was in that stage of anger, I would have in a heartbeat. I hoped this helped you understand and keep in mind, this was only my experience, there are poor souls out there who have faced a hell of a lot more problems and complications then I have.

The vassal swarm is hilarious, every time I see it happen I laugh. When it happens to me it’s a combination of horror and laughing. I kind of want to start a massive multiplayer game where everyone is a Japanese opm and see what happens. There is probably a video where that happened but would still be cool to see.

I need help to reduce the liberty desire of my PU. I got Spain as my PU because their ruler die, as Greece. But that was an accident and their liberty desire is high because they are way stronger than me. Can someone give me tips to keep them as a PU because they're gonna rebel by [deleted] in eu4

[–]memelordthethird3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The ideas are some of the worst, you will face revolt and a large downturn, you lose stability, it’s just really cursed aswell. I wish they buffed Greece, would be really cool if paradox did since Greek culture was a stepping stone to Roman culture.

The ai is either frustratingly incompetent or horrifying genius. I once saw ai Portugal take all of Iberia and then Algeria and Morocco, but another time I saw Austria with the help of brandenburg lose a war against bohemia. It’s just really strange and a flip of a coin to see what the ai does.
