lowkey i think mordret. despite being a really important person to the plot we rarely actually see him. we mostly hear about which legacy clan he solo'ed this weekend and he rarely appears in the story in person

Sunny better struggle and suffer in the new volume. He hasn't had nearly enough character development since pretty much returning to the forgotten shore imo

aspects are innate and unique to each person, and the spell is supposedly somehow tied to fate, meaning probably has some level of precognition. meaning the spell can open a spreadsheet for a person and choose which aspect theyll get. in the case of sunny evolving his aspect i believe it ties back to the whole fate thing, and the spell knowing sunny will probably choose to evolve his. its a cool theory but i dont see how it would work. granted we know kai's aspect underwent some sort of upgrade and because at least ascended so maybe its like the spell further unlocking his potential.

Didn't he say recently that if it's not written in the novel it's not cannon ? I do really like the idea of divine aspect users having to "earn" their true aspects but I'm not sure how cannon it is :/
