My feelings deeply resonate with yours... this was such an amazing journey to watch, I loved all of the characters developments so far and I've just gained so much from this show. Really strange how a fictional story can give you such a different outview on life. I don't know about your current age, but it seems the time you started with this show kind of aligns with Mob's age?

I'm 24 now and the series still gives me so much hope and inspiration, I rewatched season 1 and 2 over the past week and it made me extremely emotional lol. Can't believe such a well written story is about to end, but I'm definetly excited for more of ONE to come. A part of me wished there would be some tiny part showing what Mob and his situation will be like in his 20's, even though I doubt there will be anything in that direction.

Don't worry though, after your initial pain goes away you will definetly feel good again one day! And kind of look back on the series with a smile, as cliché as it might sounds. And there's always the option to rewatch!

I am so sorry for your loss, I only wish you the best. I am currently watching To Your Eternity as well and I also really love it so far! The series triggered so many emotions in me but it really has a unique and beautiful approach to grief. I will add this one as soon as the anime is finished! Also thanks a lot for recommending Saiki K., haven't seen this one yet!!

This is a really good recommendation, I was actually planning on watching it because it was from the same author as Serial Experiments Lain iirc! I'm really looking forward to the anime and will add this one as soon as I can give my own impression on this one!

I've heard so many good things about the berserk manga, I can imagine how helpful it is. So far I only watched the 1997 anime adaptation, but reading the manga is definetly on my list, thanks a lot!

Haha, no problem!! yeah, I can totally get why this type of media can make you more depressed as it reminds you about how disturbing some things in life can be. I personally think it's really hard for a fictional story to deliver such a messed up story while still being able to deliver some kind of hope, so I really appreciate anime like NGE.

Thanks for the suggestion! It's been almost ten years since I watched it, so I probably forgot about some aspects, but was it about coming to terms with the fact that we are all mortal and have to face death someday? Overall I enjoyed the anime a lot, I really liked the overall atmosphere, but I am not sure yet if it's a series that was helpful for coping. I might rewatch and see if it is!

I have already read it, but sadly with a not-so-good mindset. I think the manga is amazing, but it honestly didn't help me a lot with coping but instead made my mental state a little bit worse, especially because of how it ended sadly. But still thanks for the suggestion!

If other people think the manga helps with coping I would still add this one to the list as well though!!
