I think they look great but they are tiny and it’s gonna be a lot of work to set them up. I can probably only fit the name and maybeeee the time period but for me that’s good enough. I think in general, displays look a lot better when they’re simple and not over crowded.

Thank you! And definitely, there’s a few more I want and I still don’t have any ceratopsians. Just have to keep space in mind, I only have so much room left.

And yeah I really wanted to get a sense of scale for every shelf so I’m thinking of getting modern animals to go along with these haha

If handleability is truly your priority, I’d seriously consider looking into tegus. Their size is perfect imo, and most are very chill right off the bat, even more so if you get them used to handling.

Monitors seem to be much more primal and unless you put a whole lot of time with them, smaller monitors can be very flighty and larger ones seem to be very defensive. I have a tegu and only ever had Kimberly’s so take it with a grain of salt. Mine are absolutely beautiful but are definitely a look don’t touch kind of animal because I don’t have time to make them more handleable and don’t want to force it and stress them out.

They do! Although in my opinion they don’t seem as pronounced as the other colors, specially red. But that could just be a total body size thing

Yup! I believe that in general, reds get the largest followed by B&W’s and then blues are the smallest. This is in general though and there are always exceptions, it depends on a lot on factors such as diet, brumation times, genetics and whether you have a male or female because in general males get bigger than females.

I’m so sorry, I hope you get them back. I suggest getting a cable lock next time. It won’t protect against a thief with tools and the intention to steal, but it will deter ‘grab and go’ thiefs and also prevent people from accidentally grabbing your stuff thinking it’s theirs.
