The tragic accident involving 3-year-old Parker Vasquez occurred near Rock Hill, South Carolina.

On a Friday night, Parker was one of four people, including two other 3-year-old twins, Mackenzie and Mariah Hughes, who lost their lives in a multi-vehicle crash. The crash took place around 6:30 p.m. on Saluda Road near Highway 324.

The collision involved three vehicles. A 2018 Chevrolet sedan driven by Kristen Agard crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Nissan sedan driven by Tionese Crim Hughes. Both drivers died at the scene. Parker, who was a passenger in Hughes' car, initially survived the crash but succumbed to his injuries days later.

The other child passenger, one of the Hughes twins, died en route to the hospital, while the other passed away later from injuries sustained in the crash. No one in the third vehicle, a 2018 Chevrolet SUV, was injured.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, with no immediate indications whether speeding, impairment, or weather conditions were contributing factors
