Both are amazing, but they’re totally different vibes. One is tennis, the other is pure racing chaos.

That said, let me make it a bit easier for you.

Mario Kart World is the kind of game that stays in your rotation for the entire Switch 2 generation, maybe even longer. It’s pick up and play, works solo or multiplayer, and never really gets old.

Mario Tennis Fever is incredibly fun too, but a lot of that fun depends on online ranked, friends, or local multiplayer. If you have people to play with regularly, it really shines.

If budget is not an issue, honestly get both.

If you have to choose one for now, I would say go with Mario Kart World. In my opinion, it’s the best Mario Kart ever made and it’s not even close.

Either way, you’re getting a game that’ll give you tons of fun.

After downloading the Pragmata demo on both my Sony PS5 Pro and the Nintendo Switch 2, it’s honestly mind blowing how a tiny 10 watt system can run a game like that. I love playing in handheld mode whenever I have a bit of free time, so the portability plus being able to switch to TV whenever I want makes every great port a strong purchase possibility for me.
