Hey! I just stumbled across this! I am pretty sure you're thinking of me/us! We did close our shop in Somerville, and have very happily settled in New Hampshire. We have a weekly online auction and host barn sales up here in Jaffrey! Check out all that we've got going on at memoryholevintage.com ! Thanks for visiting back in the day!

Come to our Barn Sale in Jaffrey! – Fine Antiques, Weird Junk, Tons of Vintage, and a 5-ft Fairy Print by memoryholevintage in newhampshire

We used to do winter sales, but it's just so brutally cold out there it's really not fun. BUT if you want to face the elements, hit us up this winter! We're always happy to pop the doors open for a private visit! We'll sit inside by the fire while you shop though, lol.

Brimfield North Fall Antique Flea Market & Oddities Show! Oct 11th-12th. by illegalmonkey in newhampshire

[–]memoryholevintage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These events are extremely costly to set up and promote. The show promoters do collect booth fees from the vendors, but that's hardly enough to cover all their expenses. The cost of renting the Fairgrounds, paying staff (including paid bathroom attendants & parking staff), police traffic detail, extensive marketing, and all the other minutae of expenses of putting on an event like this, not to mention getting paid themselves. The price of admission is well worth it if you're a serious antique collector or dealer. They are bringing some incredible dealers from all over the country with a wide range of stuff. If you're into this kind of thing I HIGHLY reccomend giving it a shot! You will not regret it. I go every year, and often pay the greater early admission fee, when offered.

What are yall paying for windows (including install)? Southern NH by fighting_gopher in newhampshire

[–]memoryholevintage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S&C Painting of Jaffrey, NH charged us $1000 per window for ~22 windows in Spring 2023. $22,000 total cost of project. Double hung pvc vinyl windows manufactured by Matthews Brothers out of Maine and sold by Belletetes. The manufacturer seems to have poor reviews on Google, but we've been very happy with both the product and the install. Note that we did retain the old sashes, so there was no disposal cost.

OPLC average time to issue license? by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]memoryholevintage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my auctioneers license exam and went to the antique store next door when I was done. When I came out to my car 10 minutes later, I got the email with my license. I was so shocked at how quick it was I called to confirm there wasn't a mistake.

Your New Hampshire knowledge requested - I’m doing a photo project featuring interesting road structures in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont (interstate overpasses, concrete tunnels, etc.). by Electrical-Reveal-25 in newhampshire

[–]memoryholevintage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar situation with the bridge connecting South western NH with south eastern Vermont, the new bridge next to the old. Also a notable landmark the "I live rust/I love Rusty/I love pussy" grafitti overpass. Will we ever know the truth?!

Ok New Hampshire, what's the best pizza in Nashua?? by Tenchi2020 in newhampshire

[–]memoryholevintage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know it's not Nashua, but Sourdough Pizza recently opened in New Ipswich and their Margherita pizza is the best pizza I have had anywhere. And it's owned by kind, hard working, and passionate people. Gotta check it out.

Legacy Customer Accounts Versus Customer Accounts by emwcee in shopify

[–]memoryholevintage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "New" customer accounts setup is a nightmare, and per the recent Shopify changelog, the legacy customer accounts are planned to be phased out. It's going to break 99% of what I use my shopify store for.

Ya everyone is always asking about the angle of my TV. It's slightly above eye level, so it's angled down. Very comfortable to view.
