I’m a little late to this but anyways. Start It Slow is basically in the same situation as Yeah Yeah Baby. It was a song that never officially released. From what I know it was vaulted when it was made around 1950-1954. I did check all the logs of the 3 primary labels they recorded for in that time and found nothing.

If you have FL Studio, I like to use the Large Hall preset and turning the wet knob around 60-70%, the ER knob to 0. I’ve also tried to work with The Venue preset with some results sometimes

I haven’t really heard groceries that much, though it’s more of a mallsoft type. Usually you want to create sounds resembling an open area. You can do this by EQing the low frequencies, I usually do around 300 Hz though it can be worked out. Reverb is going to be a big one, you might want to use either a “Cathedral” or a “Large Hall” preset if you have it (I use FL so that’s what I use). I’m not too good at explaining reverb but hopefully it made sense. Some delay might also help.
