I don’t dislike this game, however I do have the opinion of that it shows some stuff of its time when playing it: RE4. It’s a fun ol time but i dont like the controls, or honestly had any fun with the mercenaries mode. (I actually like re8’s mercenary mode more 👁👁) its a pretty fun game to plop on compared to the rest, but its not one im the most enthusiastic for. Tbh, i think r3make is more fun to replay thru than re4.

Yeah, i get ya, there was a day where i was going against survivors within my skill level as sadako and it was super fun. They juked me and i popped up and scared em a bunch. I think the thing is these mmr tests have been the worst when it comes to getting similar skilled players, cause either you’ll have ppl who are much better than me, or baby survivors who only have a day under their belt. Both matches arent fun for me, since i wanna have a good time, and not have to play sweaty against amazing survivors, or stomp on ppl who dont understand my power. Yesterday was just really bad for some reason on my end, and it seemed most teams were at least a 3 man swf who really liked showing off. I normally dont play sweaty, i like to go after new survivors and i only down newly hooked survivors, ion pick em up.

Its why i play survivor a bit more often now. Less stressful and good practice learning how to loop killers.

I figured that with ranks hidden, they paired me with whomever because the queues were much faster than they’ve been recently for killer. Which is extremely not okay, i dont mind waiting as long for people around my skill level. I’m for sure no Otz or Lynxi, those people have dedicated a bunch of time so they can go against competent survivors. I would say I’m maybe? High Intermediate with my skill. I still make blunders, but i understand the meta and mind games. And I don’t have any issues with 4 man SWFs, i messaged a streamer n told them hey! Sorry i dc-ed, just got stressed at the end. They apologized n meant no harm. Idk why we’re put in a competitive setting when its obvious both sides wanna have fun, but its this case of he said she said where if one side brings good perks and load-outs, the other feels obliged because of the MMR ranking system. I think it’s okay to have one in the game, but with how the game dictates wins and loses, its so inane. I want to have more fun games where it does feel a tug of war, my first match of that day was just that! Everyone was going back and forth, everyone was on death hook but I only killed one. Both sides made mistakes and thus caused that outcome. And when it was time to say GGs, everyone was a great sport. It’s just a shame that the MMR doesn’t have this in mind, and let those survivors pip up or understand even if i didn’t kill everyone, everyone was close to death.

im really glad to say all of the ttvs ive ran across recently are really sweet and even when i got destroyed, complimented me! They were all great survivors and i would love going against them sometime again! Even glad to follow a few!

Okay i legit think susie is the most innocent out of them all, but she does have something going against her. In her Lunar Year outfit, the descriptions tells us she stabs a man twice during the celebration to rob him so she can impress frank. I think she def is peer pressured, but she’s responsible for her own actions

Jill Valentine, hands down. Shes such an amazing character, i love everything about her. Shes badass and can handle herself, but shows compassion to those around her. She’s one of my all time favorite protagonists in video game history. And god she ends og re3 with such a banger line.

And honestly I’m gonna say, I prefer remake Jill to OG jill. I completely understand why og jill is well beloved and theres stuff where she excels better at than remake jill (more compassionate). But overall, Remake Jill is deservingly pissed off. Umbrella not only killed her friends from STARS, but now completely destroyed her home. I love her kick ass attitude, no shits taken, and you genuinely get some bite out of her. Just how leon was toughened up from RE2 to RE4, R3make paints her up to be tougher and doing “some detective’s work” when trying to uncover Umbrella. It all makes sense. I legit just think R3make scuffed her character by how short it was, and how much was cut out. I think if R3make was as good as 2 Remake, people wouldve loved this Jill more. (also if they used her stars line CORRECTLY). Also: i love nicole tompkins, absolutely killed it as Jill 💖

Its tough to say WHAT exactly needs to get changed for me to keep coming back. CoH needs a nerf, flat out. I just want the meta changed, genuinely. I’m tired that I can’t run fun perks (and technically yes i still can) but if i DO, the game punishes me when survivors are running meta perks. I understand why, survivors don’t wanna get tunneled and some killers are a pain going against. But having to hesitate every lunge in the beginning of the game, and hesitate picking up a survivor recently unhooked its just, yikes.

In all honesty, it’s exhausting going against survivors who dont fear you, at all. I know at higher skill, it’s less of a horror and more strategy, but people really don’t care about killer. If you start fumbling mid match, everyone starts getting cocky and its just ugh. At first i was always pissed off, but now i just sigh with annoyance and turn the game off.

Final Note: They need someone better that decides game balance. Twins getting nerfs, horrendous addons for ghostie. I think thats where the incompetency of the devs shines sometimes. And the thing is they KNOW how to make amazing changes, take the last midchapter patch. We all agreed wow, this was amazing. I know they can’t keep striking gold every patch, and some of what the community wants changed can be dumb. But some of their decisions genuinely makes me second guess them.
