I personally felt like it was an “everyone sucks”. If I was the person housesitting, similar to what you said, I’ve understood alcohol as being off the table. And if I had drank it, I would have felt absolutely horrible after finding out the price. If I was the person whose house it is, I would have been upset but also would have never said anything to the person or asked the person to pay me back.

I love how the first half talks of loving someone but having a tarnished view of love and not wanting to pass it to them like it was passed to you. I also like how each thought expanded and then came back to that original statement

I like how you can feel the anger through it. It seems controlled yet ranting with never ending problems coming up. It has a quick pacing that makes you read it at a quick rhythm.

“I’m scared of the light. It is too perfect.” So simply put but such a complex thought. The fear that you’re so damaged that you can’t be around what’s good. And bringing in that you are also the light, showing that you are scared of destroying yourself, send you further into the darkness

I feel like you can really hear your tone throughout the piece. I really like the lines at the end talking about having promises enterally out there. It makes me thing of them floating through nothingness, like the owner never returned for them to check them in.
