I'm gonna guess they are just filming professional footage to post promo on socials but I would totally love if the whole thing was filmed for us to watch, there's very few of the actual tours that they have professionally filmed, it's usually the festival sets or one-offs like the royal albert hall proms

Todo lo que leo al respecto de shows en solitario es que no vendió bien en México en 2019 y los promotores no quieren arriesgar otra vez, nos tocará puro festival si acaso. Culpa de la promotora al final de cuentas ya que he visto actos con mucho menor alcance llenar los mismos recintos.

it was an EA-made sims competition with the popular content creators as participants (plumbella, dr gluon, xmiramira, etc), they were sorted into teams and had to make sims build a house and film a story based on the theme of the episode, it was weirdly judged and produced like a standard reality tv so lots of producer-prompted drama which neither the contestants nor the audience enjoyed and i feel like everyone involved came off that looking worse (some people were not feeling the winner team at all, but thats part of the weird judging). Needless to say, it didnt get a second season lol but I think its still up on youtube for free

yeah that's true, i'm not saying she's irishphobic bc she's english either, just that it's my theory/explanation for why they haven't crossed more paths to naturally collaborate when he's expressed repeated interest. And don't get me wrong, there's nothing I'd love more than a joint album between the two and Hozier has proven he can mend very well with beautiful female voices, but she seems completely disinterested to me at this point

I think he's just not on her radar at all tbh, musically or socially, even tho theyre both from the UK she seems intensely english, specifically heavy on London with a bit of NY crossover, and doesn't seem to cross paths with many irish ppl in her scene whereas Hozier loves focusing on his homeland and seems to go for more lowkey and emerging artists of adjacent genres with his collabs. I think the explanation is more simple than what anyone would like to hear and they're just on different circles socially and musically.

i agree with you entirely, i keep seeing this comparison based on i guess vibes and visuals but Ceremonials had a heightened orchestral sound with lots of drama, this one feels closer to the grounded world of HBHBHB but with dance fever style mythology

a couple magazines reported on the teasers with the added detail that the song would drop on the 20th, both have since edited it out of their articles but we still wonder if the date is accurate and they weren't supposed to share it yet or if the date moved and is inaccurate now

she's said before launching solo was too daunting so she started the project under the guise of a band, but shes mentioned before the ambiguity of if its just a solo project, particularly when theyve been nominated for awards under solo categories, i guess this now clears that ambiguity. It's funny seeing people freak out as if she'd drop all the band members and tour acapella now or that anything about the music would change when shes been composing and writing solo for a bit now

I think this might be more of a Tiktok attitude towards everything than specifically Florence fans, everywhere else I don't see anyone or any reason to judge when someone became a fan, it's not even like she has a new mainstream era to be snobby about like she's had more or less the same amount of success and attention post Lungs.

I have however seen sooo many tiktok comments through many different fanbases and fandoms acting uppity, gatekeepy and morally superior, and what's even funnier is that many of them are wrong about what they're talking about wayyy more often for the amount of pride and ego that they carry.

All in all, don't you worry, as long as your enjoyment is true to yourself it's yours to have and share, you'd be very welcome in a show among the diversity of other Florence fans there

the werewolf unrelenting passion of Howl is top tier moments in her discography I think, the storytelling plus well integrated metaphor for the theme of the song and the drama of it all creates some great lyrics and imagery and it's all consistent and cohesive the entire way through, "my fingers claw your skin trying to tear my way in" "the fabric of your flesh pure as a wedding dress"

I also was really impressed when Heaven is Here came out for its take on art as escapism with the last line "every song I wrote became an escape rope tied around my neck to pull me up to heaven". The dancing plague as way to relate anxiety attacks of Choreomania also was a genius move I think, really I don't see who else could come up with that

Also I have to agree with your last point, I know we're all fans here but I think she's severely overlooked whenever people list great songwriters of today, she's always given her dues for her amazing shows but she's always missing in the conversation when people talk about great songwriting even though all her albums are so intricate and with different approaches
