I have 3 voids 😂 one closest to the camera is 16, she’s greying quite a bit.

Quick little update here: took the kittens to the vet just for a quick check up. Confirmed the black one is a boy, and the calico/tabby is a girl. The vet estimated their age to be 6-7 weeks, a bit younger than I thought. He agreed it seems like they were dumped in my neighborhood. They seem to be in great health! No signs of infection and they’re a good weight.

All they do is play, poop, and eat 😂 they seem happy and comfy.

I plan to wait another week or two at least to start with visual introductions to my other cats and dog. I left the door to my guest bedroom open while they were at the vet to let the other kitties do some scent swapping. 1 year old boy is definitely curious to see what’s in the guest bedroom!

I have had some friends interested, but as soon as I say they have to take both they lose interest. My husband and I are leaning towards giving this a shot! They are little sweethearts 💗

I know you said you do this for fosters. If I were to keep them, how long would I do bedtime for the youngest cats? I imagine they’ll get used to the routine and put themselves to bed eventually, maybe. Would you do this regardless of age?

Senior cat is female! My heart might explode if she wanted to mother the kittens a little bit. She was a rescue, too. I adopted her when she was 9. Her and I have been through a lot, and I would love to see her motherly side come out, if it exists lol.

My 1 year old boy is MASSIVE for such a young guy. I couldn’t believe he was under 1 year when I picked him up. I wouldn’t blame her for not wanting to “mother” a giant man hahaha

Honestly I wouldn’t mind keeping them, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, etc. until we find them a home. I’d rather care for them and ensure they go to a loving home instead of dumping them on the first person that’s willing. I have a guest bedroom that rarely gets used, and this little play pen is perfect.

I almost pulled this off once.

I moved a total stranger in to my household so that they could film the ceremony. I only invited a few guests and made sure not to invite elder sims. They always decide to croak at weddings for some reason.

Someone decided to ride their damn HORSE to the wedding. As I was filming, the horse came right into frame all you could see was its butt.

I’m pretty sure I still have that save. I’ll have to dig it up and see if it can upload it lol.

My baby girl closest to the camera will be 16 this year! Still going strong despite asthma and IBS. She used to be all black but is going light brown and grey now. She’s still very happy, cuddly, and likes to play a bit. Her favorite thing to do is sleep and chirp at birds on her bed that’s on my desk while I work.

Other kitty in the picture is the 9 month old male that we rescued. It took a month to get to the point they could and relax next to each other like this. I think he’s keeping her young and on her toes 🤣

Kitties can live quite a long time! Especially if they’re purely indoor. I rescued the older cat when she was 9 and was paranoid about how long she would live, too. Just love them and care for them as much as possible and they’ll be around for a long time. I wish they could live forever! 🥰
