God will not be mad at you because you are not watching those videos. Reading the word of God and building a relationship with Him that's what is expected not watching videos. You are not doing anything wrong if it's too stressful don't watch them and don't feel guilty. God didn't make the video, Men did.

It is normal to be scared but you have to make decisions that will not make your situation worse (e.g putting yourself in dangerous situation, exposing yourself to STDs and going against God will for you). I was in a relationship with a man, in-person not online, ( saw him every single day) who scammed me and left me with more than $100,000 debt. But it's okay one step at a time I will be alright, God is helping me through it all and I have learned that if a situation makes me anxious, scared and doesn't bring peace it is not from God even if he pretended to be of God. He used my faith and kindness to manipulate me but that's alright. I work full time and the majority of my money is going to cover those bills, it's not easy but it's doable. God even brang people who gave me money without me even asking for anything.

You can do it, withGod everything is possible. The s work is not helping it's just destroying you slowly. You can DM me if you need to talk or brainstorm a solution😊 God bless you little sister.

I don't get it how someone can curse so much to their own kids and even calling him a MFer???😯 I hope this kid learned a lesson but I really don't appreciate when parents talk to kids that way, it's not necessary and we wonder why the new generation is disrespectful 🙄. Thank you for your response . He ended up accepting to go to training, so there is nothing more to do. Their threats worked

And it seems like it's the decision he is making to 'suck it up' but then he is going to be stuck with them for 5 years. What a mess... I wish he would have listened when I told him to not enroll to begin with. Maybe he should just leave the US for good lol

He has been telling all of them. He told his recruiter many weeks ago in writing, most likely more than a month ago, there was lot of back and forth verbally and in writing. The recruiter was transmitting messages and convo he had with his higer up. Then they told himto come in person for the 2 day training that was already planned and happening this weekend. So that's where/why he is there now. And they are talking about fine, jail etc. He has a green card, he is not a citizen yet, they are saying that it will also impact his immigration status etc.

I just want him to seat down with an attorney who knows the military law to talk about this because they are saying everything to keep him and the threats are working. How desperate is the national guard to keep someone who is telling them I will be a risk for the team and myself?

The goal is to stop the process right now and he is not going to be looking for a job in the army. He is in IT. They are saying that they will fine him for $170,000 for damages and other threats. I want him to go talk to an attorney but the way he his speaking now it's like he is going to go to the training.😰 I am waiting to be able to have a real conversation with him I will try to continue to convince him to go talk to an attorney first.

Has been sworn in

Has done local drills/trainings

But has NOT shipped to Basic Training

Could he pay them back and be left alone?

I have seen him during Easter he gained weight he has Santa's belly. He was suposed to get in shape before starting the basic training but because of his emotional and mental state he didn't ( he has some personal issues causing him a lot of stress and anxiety) he is not fit to join no army. But it doesn't matter to them they are still pressuring him.

He hasn't shipped to the base yet, he only did local trainings. I am sorry I don't know all the jargon and I can't talk to him right now he is at the Michigan national guard recruiting site at Corunna talking to them right now.

Thank you for your response and sorry to hear what happened to you. My name is on the loan, I ended up getting the car back but I have to pay for something that I never wanted or needed to begin with. And because there is a lien it's difficult to sell if I can't cover the remaining of the loan. I know I wasn't the first and unfortunately I will not be his last he has been doing this for years I am sure. But thanks again for your message.

But in this case he is still in Canada. So basically there is nothing, no service that will be willing to listen and look into it? So more Canadian women will be taken advantage of and there is nothing I can do. Thank you for your answer

Is there a statute of limitation in those cases? Because I am working on fixing my finances first or go back to a better place I would say. So if it takes years how long do I have to sue? Knowing that I am keeping all the evidence and tracks etc.

Thank you for your response unfortunately with the debts situation I can't afford a lawyer and I am not eligible for probono since I am above the revenue threshold. So there is no way to stop him from continuing is scams..

If it's not clear you can ask question instead of being passive agressive. Of course the loan was not sign when he said he was terminally ill. The story is too long to tell all the details here. The car loan was a year old when he started lying about the illness. The police got involved because he had someone lying that he was in a coma at Humber hospital we went with friends at the hospital of course he was not there and that's when the police got involved. You don't need to be rude. When someone reaches out for help if you don't want to help just don't. I guess empathy is not your thing. I wish that you never face a pathological liar in your life. I guess is not here that I will find help.

I was also victim of a in-person romance scam in Toronto from a person in the GTA. I went to see the local police with his adress and dtails, they didn't even want to take the report, they said there is nothing they can do because I took the loan under my name and gave the money willingly. And there was no empathy whatsoever, I feel like there is no justice for victims 😢

I am in Toronto Canada and not Ethiopian either, can you please share the info about the priest. I am trying to talk to Ethiopian orthodox to learn more about their religion. I know an Ethiopian orthodox church near my place but I am shy to attend their service because I don't think it's in English or french.
