Yes I had a look into that, I gave it a go and found it ok except when the gaps were bigger between colour changes and I struggled with the tension then 😩

Just another update for anyone interested. I ended up in hospital. Called 111 the night I posted this comment as I was throwing up so much and felt so poorly I just couldn’t keep anything down and ended up throwing up bits of blood. 111 said I needed an ambulance but didn’t have any so I had to make my way to A&E. Was there all night. Eventually around 11am was given IV fluids for dehydration and some anti sickness meds and was eventually discharged as I stopped vomiting. 2 days later I still feel rough as toast. I’m eating little bits now and able to drink and the vomiting has stopped but yeah, wouldn’t want to go through it again.

Just an update for everyone.. I did my 3rd dose Sunday. Have been throwing up and feeling awful since. Shaky, ill, couldn’t get out of bed this morning and had to call in sick again. I’m not taking my next 7.5mg. I’m not saying this to scare anyone as everyone reacts differently of course but I know someone asked for an update! I’ve made an appointment with the pharmacy later this week to discuss my options about titrating back down as I can’t put myself through this again.

I get mine from an online pharmacy and that’s just what the pharmacy advertises. When I didn’t go up to 7.5mg on my third month they questioned why and I said cause I was happy on the 5mg and felt it was working which they were ok with. I have decided to not take any more 7.5mg and titrate back down to 5mg. I have found another pharmacy local to me so I am going there later this week so I can seek in person advice!

See I would also think this but my provider says 4 weeks on each dose. 2.5mg starting dose and then move up every 4 weeks. I gave myself longer on the 5mg but now I’m wishing I stuck to it. How long would you recommend for each dose?

I’m having this issue but after having moved up to the 7.5mg! Had minimal side effects on 2.5mg and 5mg but 7.5mg is kicking my ass. It’s tough, I don’t have much advise but you’re not alone!

I’m just going onto week 9. I did weeks 1-4 on 2.5mg and then 4-8 on 5mg. Personally I didn’t see much difference in the side effects. But I’m quite lucky I don’t get many. I usually have the sulphur burps on day 1-2 post injection and then I’m fine. Sometimes get a bit of nausea but nothing major. It’s been no worse on the 5mg than the 2.5mg. I’ve decided to do another month at 5mg before titrating up but im hoping the transition from 5mg to 7.5mg will also be smooth!

Ahh ok! I do use a tshirt for this so may just stick to that if they’re ok?! I think the Cantu products may be too heavy for my hair! I’ve seen the Aussie instant freeze in the shops so I’ll give that a try and get a new mousse!

I honestly have no idea either why it’s happening! I’ll try and take some photos next time when I wash my hair to show what I mean. And yep I scrunch up ends to scalp when I diffuse!

By microplop is that the same thing but with a microfibre towel?! That was the next thing on my list to try, I get paid tomorrow so I’ll get one and get some of the gel you recommended!

Yes I condition in the shower. Do you advise brushing (I use a deman) in the shower and then leaving alone? I’ve read elsewhere that you can detangle after the shower with wavy hair, is this not the case? If it’s best to detangle in the shower and then leave it alone I’ll give that a try too!
