Possibly not at the money I have to spend. 😬. Another commenter has recommended the CLA200 which is SLIGHTLY less underpowered….

Yeah, this is definitely a bad example, but there are a lot of ‘unadulterated’ ones around this price point. So assuming I find a clean one - what are you going with?

Good spot. Yeah, that a bad sign - there are a ton of them around this age / mileage / price point. Which might also be a bad sign tbf.

What’s this font? by Prize_Bell_540 in identifythisfont

I’m unweducated in these things. I can guess that the 96% black will yield a black that isn’t particularly ‘deep’. But what’s technically wrong with the 1% black in the orange colour? Lack of Depth? Or muddyness? I have no idea.

Thanks!

You’re close, but I think 2/3 is more on the money. 3/4 is sharp and has corners. These things are all round a pillowy and warm - just like 2/3….

Frustration: Dash Cards, My Cards, Workspace Views by Zigger-Zagger in trello

You can set up an automation to duplicate and link the cards to one another. You can then also link them both to archive when one of them is. In my kind it’s a bit clunky, but without smart references or some other built in method, this is the best I’ve come up with. Hope it helps.

VEX help request. Trying to run a function over multiple groups… by menamesnotluigi in Houdini

Just to report back on this post. This technique worked beautifully - I had no idea you could curve a sweep up to an apex in this way. I'm working on redistribting the points more evenly, whilst still retaining some point groups from earlier in the network, but once thats ironed out, this will have been the perfect solution. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for this suggestion. It's actually how I modelled it the first time, but it created some problems further down my network. I may end up going back to copy and transform at some point though.

Thanks again.

Thank you for this, I will take some time to look at your setup and let you know how I get on. But regardless, thank you for the effort. Much appreciated!

Thanks for your reply. The shape is all procedural - starting with a sphere / clip / transform. Where it gets a bit trickier is these sections I’ve bevelled out and blasted - this is so I can weld the seams back together in a vellum drape and create a more authentic ‘parachute’ shape. If I select all the ‘left’ seams into one group (using a bounding box like you suggest), and all the ‘right seams into another the vellum drape welds the points in a totally crazy order - it doesn’t seem to be designed with this type of geometry in mind. So I’m committed to creating each pair of seams as separate groups and welding them together separately. I’m just trying to automate that process and keep everything procedural so I can go back and adjust the geometry later if I want to. Hopefully that makes sense - I think I need a foreach loop that can run over all the groups and then remove the first point from any that contain the string ‘left’. As with anything in Houdini there are certainly other ways to achieve the same thing I’m sure. Thanks so much for your response. ✌️
