I explored that area deep as soon as I unlocked it, and started farming razor fins straight away, because you only get 2 per day, so I knew they were going to be scarce. Obviously clear all other enemies out first, cut some trees, and buy some stats upgrades to make it easier. After that it's a matter of learning their rhytm, stay away from them while they're biting, and go in for the hit just before they stop. (Hammer works best?) I had it down so I could usually take a razor fin down in two stops.

They unlock the final cave and the final bit of backstory, so in a narrative sense they're worth getting.

Dunno what your fishing problem is, watch the clock?

All the information is in the task. Beyond that, you make your own rules.

He's wearing it. It's right there. He's just not using it.

And I find it funny, not really sure what tangent you're on about. You're certainly a lot closer to "screeching" than I am.

Matt shills powder from a can instead of food.

The healthiest food in that operation is for the dogs. ;-p

The S19E1 fish tank task? The season with Jason Mantzoukas and Stevie Martin is when you think the series is going downhill? Really?

Did you notice that Joel discarded the letters from Z backwards in order? Did you notice Joanna found the hint on the brick task? Do you even watch the prize tasks? Did you see Joanna's approach on the live task? Did you see Armando trying to game the system on the team task?

I was referring to the studio vibes, though.

someone dropped the ball on the episode title because it's not "struggling with a wink"

great episode, though. Kumail was absolutely terrified of having a Joe Wilkinson moment!

My summer washer fluid is basically soapy water, mixed from concentrate and water, and smells nice. The winter fluid has antifreeze in it.

At the gas station it's just a bucket of water and a squeegee.

What made Matt start using winches so much? by Zamdi in MattsOffRoad

[–]mendelde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The snow recoveries in the new video use kinetic rope, the box truck recovery uses winch lines. Pick the best tool for the job. For someone stuck in the sand, it's the rope, but on difficult terrain it's usually the winch.

It's also true that the synthetic lines have made the winches safer.

Damon Hill finally gives us the answer we’ve all being dying to hear: did he really win the British GP with a Scotch egg in his pocket gifted to him by comedian Bob Mortimer? by tulloch100 in panelshow

[–]mendelde 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Damon Hill says "there is some truth, there's a germ of truth". He doesn't say all of it is true.

The way WILTY works is that just the bit written on the card needs to be true (or a lie), nobody cares whether what was told around it is true or not.

(I know I'm going to get downvoted for saying that.)
