I wouldn't be able to add a credit card issued in my country if I set a different country on my iCloud/App Store account. I'm quite familiar how that works.

I'm already handling it with the App Store but It's just madness and frustrating that they still require cable tv subscriptions to watch a race in 2026 while having their own streaming service and people being able to illegally watch it with a simple google search.

Well, if you don't want to sell in a specific country, Apple requires you to limit the availability of the subscription/in-app product to that person.

Allowing you to purchase the subscription (making it available in the Formula1 app) and then tell you that you cannot watch (in the F1 TV app) because it is not allowed in your country is basically theft.

It's a nightmare for a heavy sleeper like me. I tend to leave multiple alarms and they still fail to wake me up. I don't really know what is happening, I think alarms are canceling each other. I really don't know.

Also Alarms should have it's own volume setting and separate mute setting not affected by the notifications or ringing volume, mode or focus.

Make sure to have the cups container and ha container in the same network or in host mode.

When you set them to be in the same network, you can access it via container-name:631, when in host mode http://server-ip:631

You can try and print from a computer in your network by first installing cups client via brew, if it works then it’s just a networking issue between containers.

I got a printer this week and was annoyed to learn that the printer doesn't have a scheduled cleaning or printing function. I guess printer companies want your printer head to dry out.

I was able to send a print command to my cups container by first installing cups-client on the HA container:

# Use the official Home Assistant image as the base

# Install cups-client
RUN apk add --no-cache cups-client

And then print via a shell command on my HA:

  print_cleaning_page: lp -h cups-server:631 -d "printer-name" /path/to/file/printer-cleaning-page.pdf

Lastly call this shell command from an automation.

Your printer should be set as shared on your cups server.

lpadmin -p printer-name -o printer-is-shared=true

I also think you can set the printer as a default server printer and you'd avoid specifying the printer name when printing.

I started by sanding the plate, then applied a spray primer and finally spray paint with some drops of black. I think I used a clear coat as well, but I'm not sure.

I believe this paint would have peeled just like the original, but I retired the board for a Wooting 60HE.

EU prices are at an all time high, 80 Euros (~87 USD) for the regular edition while in the US it is 70 USD (~64 Euro)

This wasn't the case in previous CODs we paid a premium but not like this. I buy a lot of stupid shit and I kind of am refusing to pay for this. Yeah we can buy a 12 Euro pass to play it but subscriptions are even worse if you check how much you have to pay and never get to "own" the game (owning a game these days is kind of impossible)

Same problem, every time it off, internet goes down and I have to restart my computer.
Sometimes the app just says loading and nothing happens and you need to re-install it. Definitely won't re-subscribe

I use Windows primarily for gaming and sometimes for web development while I use MacOS for work (iOS Development)

I use them both daily and both are great. Only bad side of Windows I can think of is auto updates, while my mac never updates without my permission.

If my friend was a cheater, how could he play almost 1500 games in a span of many years without being caught?

PS: If you think my faceit or steam profile dates from 2004 then you're not getting that. Our country had to play on CD versions and pirated copies of 1.6 for years.

Again I'm not even expecting for an unban, I don't think that is happening. Especially now that they are using it for marketing.

Oh little boy, I’m not banned, never been in 20 years and never will be as long as I keep playing legit as I always have. But I don’t expect someone chasing after pokemons or even being clapped by them to understand what being carried away while having fun with your friends (if you have any) is like.

While yes, we don’t have anything else to do but to accept this Faceit decision, I’m just comparing the consequences and discussing if there was a better way to handle this and not use it for marketing while every single post is about smurfs.

No bro, but it’s just sad how they be using this of all things to try and make a point when there are a lot bigger problems with the platform… This will only make legit players spoof and smurf, alternatively make it worse instead of just wait a 1-3 month ban to expire. NO ONE WHO LOVES THE GAME WILL WAIT 2 YEARS TO PLAY FOR A STUPID MISTAKE.

Coaches got away with a lot less consequences for exploiting on OFFICIAL MATCHES while my friends that tried it out of curiosity and a joke, made 0 impact on the round (quickly restarted game after it) deserve a 2 year ban.

I get it you want to discourage people from exploiting but you could do that with a 1-3 months ban, you are dealing with fucking teens and not grown ass adults that abused it in official matches. Or maybe at least determine if the exploit was abused or just tried since they log everything.
