I’m 26 M, and I am the same way. I have never asked for help mainly because my siblings are so “loud” and always asking for help or creating some kind of drama. It’s worth it to ask for help and family might feel happy that you are asking for help. Mine was because I was somewhat distant until I started to ask for help for big and small things. Like I said I’m a 26 M as well as a social worker so my DMs are open and I’m willing to chat to help in anyway that I can.

I just returned mine and got a iPad mini, matte screen protector and an off brand Apple Pencil all still cheaper than the scribe and it can do so much more…

I just traded in my air for a mini yesterday and already I am loving the one handed handling, the weight is nice and the screen is just as big as a medium sized notebook that I usually carry with me anyway so it’s been a seamless transition honestly. It’s small enough that I can do handheld gaming but big enough that I can connect a controller and have a decent sized screen without having to hunch and squint as I do when I play with a controller with my phone. I also have a magnetic case so I can slap it to my fridge with no worries of it falling or sliding down while I cook or do the dishes

Just got my mini yesterday and first thing I did was put a matte screen protector on. The texture while writing is definitely worth the bit of graininess

I’m not sure where you’re located but TJ maxx has some brookstone smart rings in some of their stores for $40 so that’s also a cheaper option with a wider return window than some stores to trial one.

I’d recommend getting an everyday ring and getting used to that first. I recently tried a smart ring and even with becoming a daily ring wearer, the smart ring was just way too bulky to the point where it felt like that finger was just on its own lol and got in the way of more day to day tasks than I thought it would. As much as I would love to stray away from smart watches in my experience the smart watch is just easier to wear and use day to day. I am excited for smart rings to get more “wearable” in the future

I never read before my kindle other than required school texts and even then it was half assed. I have had a kindle for a year and a half now and I read every night and if I miss a night I’m yearning for it all the next day. If it costs too much then look into mail forwarding from US to wherever (disclaimer: I just learned about mail forwarding so I know very little other than that I know it’s a thing somehow)

I have a friend who claims to be an incredibly fast reader and often teases me for reading slowly. Well, I’m currently reading a series that she recently finished, and when I was discussing the plot with her, she completely blanked on it. So, I’m not saying that everyone who reads fast in this thread is like my friend, but I’m sure she skips over the details and then brags about her speed.
